Yes it is a cup game however they were only promoted this season so not a good result at home.

...if memory serves me right, United was promoted last season!!!

We really have not gotten to grips with bringing talent into this team, we just replace like for like. We still look like a bunch of school girls against any team in the league, we are weak in tackles, and we attempt to constantly tackle from the sides as if we are afraid to get hurt. Even if we stood square in front of an attacking player and stay goal side, it would be more effective than what we are doing now.

We had a patch where we picked up points which saved us from the drop, last season, but the subsequent run-in at the end, had us playing as poorly as we were under Morgan at the start of the season.

We have not improved since those heady days when we were picking up points and we may just have to ride this out to the end of the season, before making a decision.

Pretty sure Liverpool came up this season and it was Man Utd the season before.

As the men's teams can pump funds into the women's teams, it's allowed Man Utd to reform their women's team and shoot up to where they are in a really short space of time, with a few of their players in the England side, which is deservedly among the favourites to win the upcoming World Cup.

I'm not really sure exactly what happened to Liverpool but I think they won the WSL previously then dropped off a cliff, got relegated and have now just come back. I don't know what their squad is like and how it compares to the rest of the league, but if they're taking women's football seriously again, they'll be spending and using the 'Liverpool' prestige to haul themselves into a good position quickly.

In any case, I believe we rotated a lot in this game. A 4-0 loss at home against a newly promoted side doesn't look great but I do think there are mitigating circumstances. Plus, it's quite clear that, again, survival is the only priority for this Leicester team right now. How they progress beyond that in the coming seasons, I don't know.

I believe the next league game is against Reading, which will be the biggest game of the season so far.

If you set the WSL up as a copy of the PL, which they have  then you shouldn't be surprised that the SuperLeague 6 will dominate because apart from anything else the best players will naturally head towards those teams based on name and reputation irrespective of how good they currently are. LCFC Women's team will never be able to compete with them except for a miracle season.

Should be mentioned too that we did rotate, academy players got a run too. That said, I don't know if they did the same. I think players were being looked at, and maybe tactics played with, so I wouldn't too much into the result.

We know it's going to be a tough season, one were frankly we're just looking to not finish bottom. There are class teams in this league but there's a ways to go yet. The game coming up v Reading is one that'll give a little more clarity of where we're at.

....like the men's Premier League, there are a handful of very good teams, and very much of the rest are all equally good or bad on any given day!!!

We somehow are so poor in all aspects of doing the basics, and it is the reason we stand out and languish at the bottom of the league.

We need a radical approach to coaching and re-addressing the player's mentality, they appear inferior and act in that fashion in competition. They need to be fitter, if the quality has to be low due to the club's spending, then we have to outwork the opposition. If we are not prepared to attempt to match the big boys in contracts then we need a USP and that requires a radical plan to be reviewed in 3 years.

We should not be looking at what others do and attempting to emulate them and look to just make up the numbers, let us start to build something and move away from the norm.

Reading looking far the better team so far, We just look like we're chasing shadows and when we get the ball we either hoof it anywhere, misplace an intended pass or get robbed.

We seem to be able to defend ok but do not look like we have any forward play in use never mind a goal.

been critical of Flint but that was a brilliant finish from distance, right in the bottom corner

She just isn't very mobile and in a side that lack pace and mobility in general it make her look even worse.
