I was sad to see him leave, but one of the few that I'm really pleased with what he has achieved since then too! Amazing player and humble character

Remember him starting away at Stoke and he was awesome. Think he even played on the wing.

He did for several games. Ranieri later said that Kante stayed quiet and just smiled when he asked where he wanted to play, so he tried him on the wing/right midfield. Ranieri soon sussed it, of course and we all know what happened from then on.

Towards the end of that title winning season I used to just count down in my head when the opposition had the ball near him and within 5 seconds he’d have it back. Exceptional player.

Wasn't doubting that although he didn't win the league single handly for either club. Some of our fans paint him as if he won the league on his own here.

True but after his heroics here he had the right to choose where ever he wanted to go, clearly didnt choose badly

Fantastic, thanks for this - hadn't even seen it. Look for a small blonde lad going nuts top left middle (white jacket, blue foxes top - my lad) and me in the green jacket hugging him straight afterwards! My lad, now 14, and towers over me, just watched it and is made up!!

I forgot that he played against Bury?! That’s so unfair, it was a bit cheaty playing him in the Prem, let alone in the early rounds of the League Cup.

So did Mahrez and Drinkwater but they get dogs abused compared to Kante who just left.
