Thomas was loaned out to Sheffield United who were in the Premier League.

We had Doyle as a loan from Man City.

If I recall correctly this was our strongest team.

               Hermanson

Ricky Faas Vestergaard Doyle

                    Winks

Fatawu  Ndidi  KDH Mavididi

                    Vardy

That team would take the current one apart.

Mavididi was a different player as well.

Crazy how far we have fallen.

And Thomas and Hamza were big parts of the team that won the championship

Did Enzo's football bore you that much so you missed the whole season? They really weren't and you'll struggle to find anyone that agrees with that post. Both are absolute liabilities.

I wonder whether Faes isn’t involved because he’s effectively refusing to play. He ducked out of the Northampton game for ‘personal reasons’ and Martin’s excuse that there are interested parties in signing him and that’s why he isn’t playing is directly contradicted by the fact he’s playing Souttar. Fact remains, despite his many issues, Faes is much better suited to playing Martin-ball than Souttar and Okoli. We know Okoli is poor with his feet and now we’ve seen in two games that Souttar is not great either - nor is he apparently that bothered with defending with any vigour or even to the ref’s whistle!

I said in the build up neither are good enough to play this system.

Comes to something when the system you play makes players signed for £15m+ unable to play decent against Notts County doesn't it?

There's just a kind of acceptance about playing this way too. Matt Piper said on Radio Leicester we should just accept that's how football is now. Should we?

The interest from other clubs excuse doesn't really fit when Souttar is captain and we have just rejected a bid. He's also said he wants out.

I don't disagree that they're doggo

I was replying to the comment of saying both were unproven above League One

Actually dont think Faes would do a bad job in League One and is definitely going to be better than what we currently have. If he could put his ego aside for once, he could actually build himself back up.

Shame he's a massive cock and doesn't want to be here

I’ve heard so many mixed reports on him.

He’s clearly the most suited to the style of football we are trying to play. He’s clearly got ability but just has a brain fart per march.

And this is where we're at.

Pining for the inclusion of someone who has been at odds with the fans and has been courting suitors like a desperate spinster in Bridgerton.

Comeback, HFaes, all is forgiven.

People are confusing 'the guys we have are crap' with 'Faes is good'

That guy reliably and regularly costs us points

He still needs to go in my opinion. He has been a terrible signing and sort of highlights half the challenges we’ve created ourselves in the past 5 years.

It’s a bit would you rather stand barefoot on a plug, or a Lego isn’t it!

Imo if we can't sell him then he needs to be playing. He's currently our best CB.

Non of the managers he's worked under here have complained about him. Martin has made a point of saying he's worked well in training. Just because he flaps his arms about doesn't make him a bad professional. And tbh I'm not sure how any fan that's booed their team can complain when a player thinks leaving might be a good idea. If he's here, he should play.

Faes is better than Okoli.

I think Choudhury is a better centreback than Okoli.

The bloke is as bad as Amartey was.

In fact, I think it might have been on the @BSLB podcast, it’s a poor indictment on how bad Italy are, that he’s an international player. No wonder they’ve failed to qualify for any tournament for 10+ years.
