Unfair to put Hamer in the same category as Ward, Pressman and Kalac tbf. Hamer actually had some decent games for us and was a decent enough shot stopper. We’ve had far worse keepers than Hamer. Ricardo or someone might have been a better comparison.

Our scouting team realised we needed a goalkeeper that could cover more of the goal.

 

With this in mind we have scoured the world and found a beautiful man.

A refrigerator stays chilled, can contain a lot of bottle and occupies a sensible logical and appropriate position at all times, therefore officially  a better qualified option than Ward. 
 

Or perhaps Vestergaard, lay him down on the line with one leg and both arms pointing upwards and that’s 85% of the goal covered

Ward would genuinely have been about our 4th best keeper in the League One season. The situation with him alone angers me. Rodgers killing another career in Iversen for this. Disgusting.

Kalac - Torrid time here but has played in the Champions League and a World Cup (with one noteable clanger). Won us the 1996 Playoff final.
Hamer - Had at least one decent run in the side when Kasper was injured
Fridge - Would have kept Bournemouth's first goal out
Ward - Some good cup performances before he had to carry any responsibility, now has basketball hoops for hands
Pressman - Fine in his day but had his studs nailed into the grass by the time he came here. Would definitely have conceded more goals playing right now at age 37
