Of course never thought of that. Think Jill will make the final.

Don't think so. Just not a big enough presence to make a real impact.

It’s sickening how far Hancock has got on this? Are the population that cognitively dissonant??

Maybe some people are just watching it as a tv programme. There are plenty worse in there still as the show goes on. People not getting stars , bitching or not doing much at all.

Plus the kids on the app won't really care about it..rather have the moaning boring people off the show like Sue and boy George.

Not that I fully agree with that

So, we have Mike, Matt, Owen, Chris, Jill and Sean left.

Very difficult to pick out a clear winner.

Without baggage, Matt would probably be a shoe in.

As it is, I am plumping for Mike.  He gets on with the challenges, even if he is a grumpy bugger!

there certainly was, there was only 1 campmate that has actually served prison time for assult & false imprisonment but hardly mentioned to busy going after Matt for mixing households with a lady that is now (& probably soon after the event) his live-in partner

I didn't actually mean it like that. I was meaning as people on the show.

But yeah there was worse in that sense too.

Actuality watched it last night. Jill managed to bore me to sleep with her monotonous voice and rather unfunny attempted one liners. Found Matt interesting. Had he gone in the jungle pre covid he’d have taken a shed load of beating. The covid baggage probably too much to overcome but he does seem a very interesting chap. Was hoping the Leicester lad might win but looks like he’s shot his bolt.

Jill just wins it on the popularity vote and while the Lionesses' are still riding their Euros wave. But I agree with the above, she's fairly boring albeit totally harmless and inoffensive. Chris came across as a total cock and massively insecure with his obsession with Matt Hancock last night, whether he's just saying it trying to be funny or not. Personally want Matt to win as I have this weird element to me of gravitating more towards unpopular people and defending them lol

I thought Chris was a complete tool as well, acts the big’un when in a group but went to pieces on his own, he actually reminded me of David Brent when around Chris ‘Finchy’ Finch, has that look of check me out I hang with the cool kids when around ,say, Mike but you can tell he’s actually just that annoying dick that hangs around trying to get accepted into the gang.

He was scared of his own shadow in there and on that last trial with Owen he came away giving it I did my bit and acting like he was nails back in camp and all but blaming Owen but all he did was hold some weight & was very quick to get that job.

Then that bit with A&D when he got kicked out turning on Matt that’s him back amongst friends that will roll with him so he says what he thinks people want to hear to get that acceptance he needs.

I agree with every single word of this.

I've never owned a gilet but I imagine like everybody who folds laundry there is somewhat of a correct way to fold it and place it, and for a gilet that just happens to be the way that Matt lay his out lol

Is there another element to it? I haven’t watched the programme, but my social media feeds are full of very angry people wailing and gnashing their teeth at Hancock’s continued presence in it. And if there’s one thing I know about this country, it’s that if a large number of people are clearly wound up by a particular thing, then many other people will go out of their way to make that thing happen. Is it partly because a lot of people are basically on the wind-up?

That could be the case to a point. As its a free app and you get so many votes for whoever you want. There will be people doing for the laugh as such.

Can't see him winning but it's kind of a popularity contest to a point. ... Popularity of the votes rather than the person.

To be fair to him he's done the most trials and really got stuck into it which I'm suprised about.

This covers quite a bit about it i feel..sorry its from a newspaper!

It’s down to the way the voting works.  You vote to keep someone in so the ‘Love them or hate’ them types get more votes than the ‘meh’ types.  That is quite deliberate because polarising people make better TV.   If it was a vote to get rid of someone I am pretty sure Hancock would have gone very early on.  Anyway, Owen got my vote for having Leicester’s Premier League winning team as his specialist subject and singing Vichai had a Dream as he walked across the bridge.
