Good spirit from England to get their way back into this one.

Yep they showed great character to go again after the George try ruled out because at that point it was game over.

Thought Flatman summed it up well by comparing it to the 6N

England showed that they can mix it with the best, but silly yellow cards undo all the good work.

England showed they can compete, unfortunately it was for 30 mins of the 1st half. SA dominated the the rest of the game & scored every time they got into the 22. Ruthless.

As you pointed out, yellow cards didn't help, although the Springboks had one in the 1st half, which helped us out too.

Loving how snarky Nick Mullins is regarding the crowd here.

And these Argentines are dirty as fvck - really want Pollock to score and wind them up as much as possible when he does in his usual style.

Definitely an edge to this match by the end.

BBC say their players wore 1986 Argentine shirts just to wind us up even more no doubt so great to get a win.

Bloody ref really wanted to give it to the Argentinians at the end there. Glad the TMO held out.

Thankfully they were so wrapped up on the grounding that they avoided checking where curry’s tackle was. If judged high then a penalty try which makes it 31-31

Nah, from what I remember of the ref comms when it happened they did look at that and ref concluded pretty quickly that it was legit, which was a relief because it did look pretty borderline.

Edit: one of the Argentina players was bellyaching about it into the refs ear for a lot of the check, IIRC.
