Let's hope the club haven't picked up any such ideas from that Southampton game.

The south coast doesn't strike me as one of the passionate football areas of the country, in the same way that the Midlands does for example. The main factor in forming that opinion are the experiences of going away to clubs all over, as that provides a comparison.

Pompey would be up there with the most passionate set of fans I’ve encountered. Personally, at Fratton Park and at our place

Yep and plymouth always seem to be a pretty passionate bunch too, given the distances they have to travel, it takes a certain dedication.

CLAP BANNERS & HONESTY FLAGS

As you make your way into the stadium, be sure to collect a clapper to cheer on the team, and don’t forget to wave one of our 2,000 honesty flags in the bowl to get behind the team! These honesty flags should be left under your seat after the game to ensure they stay a regular part of matchdays at King Power Stadium.

They're complaining how quiet Stamford Bridge has gone this season. Wonder why?

It's always been quiet, it's one of the worst grounds in the country for atmosphere

Tbf it’s always been a bit shit. Chelsea are a weird one because similar to us they’ve had some massive highs in fairly recent history and now in comparison to where they were, they are bang average. It does effect the atmosphere like it has done with us. Having said that, I’ve never really rated Chelsea’s support.

Whilst they decent participation with "Chelsea. Chelsea. Chelsea" their alternative "We've won it all, we've won it all" is a bit too complex for their average match goer to remember

This is obviously a prime example of the club being out of touch with the average fan, but more than that, it also shows they do not grasp English football culture. Just pains me to see what the club has become.

Many of our fans don't grasp English football culture. I'm still seeing an alarming amount of clappers being used. The same that like to dance about to goal music. Each to their own, they pay the same as I do.

Chelsea's support was superb in the 80's - I think there's a hard core that prefer when they were a far more earthy club

My mates dad is a Chelsea fan who often comes City games with us as well, and I genuinely think he'd love seeing them in league one.

I think it shows the club aren't out of touch, i would ague the majority want this sort of stuff.
