I do not disagree with that.

Our ground seems so neutral, more King Power than Leicester City.

That Jamie Afro video listed above is from the first match where the stadium shifted to that approach too as it happens.

Generic bowl stadium devoid of any identity

...surely the USP is that we play there!!!

It is the atmosphere that is generated on match days that makes it, not architectual additions that will set us aoart. Making this club a bear pit and intimidating to opponents would be what defines coming to the ground.

We have Seagrave, although raved about, but if what comes out of there has little or no character then it is still only bricks and mortar.

We can have 86 pages talking about this and that , but Its what happens on the pitch which ignites the atmosphere.

If it was 2011 it would've been the first home game of the season and we lost 2-0.

2-1 no? swear I remember Lloyd Dyer scoring a worldie v Reading and sprinting shirt off, neck veins bulging around then

If they really want to get the atmosphere going they should be handing out free beer or at least at cost and open the stadium at 12 so that people can have a fair scoop

If they really want to get the atmosphere going, let anyone wearing a Stone Island jumper in for free, and make the Kop and L1 compulsory standing areas

Possibly Bolton? Think that happened in 2 matches vs them in 2013.

It’s high time we took a leaf out of the men’s shaving market.

If they really want to get the atmosphere going, make the next match a double clapper gameday.

Just say the words out loud ffs

DOUBLE CLAPPER GAME DAY

Now shout them out loud

DOUBLE CLAPPER GAME DAY

Now imagine that against the backdrop of 40k people using two clappers at once.

...the discussion was regarding our lack of identity, the fact that we no longer display any reference to yesteryear players around the ground, and the stadium being a generic design, which was what I was responding to!!!

I totally agree that the crowd feeds off what is going on off the pith, our performances this year have mirrored Rodgers's lacklustre leadership and are now ingrained into this squad. Something needs to happen, to create a siege mentality to wake these players up from their stupor.

The clappers against Bournemouth were not a one off.

Great stuff. Presumably this means they'll be ditching the mandatory mobile tickets thing then given we clearly don't give a shit about wasting paper etc....

From recent performances it looks more like they've been on the pith.

Went to a game on Saturday where no beer being sold in the ground made it a better atmosphere.

No pissing about on the concourse - straight to your seat and get the atmosphere banging pre-match.
