The bit about Clive Clarke was interesting and sounds like it really took a toll on him.

At the time I remember being quite shocked but as he pulled through didn't think too much more of it. I have heard him speak about it before and how everyone genuinely thought he was dead in the dressing room. He certainty paints a picture of the scene and sounds like a nice bloke for what he did.

Football aside he sounds like a mad bastard but a genuine good person.

Lovely of Roy Keane to comment about it in his book. "Surprised they found a heart, you wouldn't think he had one the way he played"

Very different character for the cameras now though our Roy.

Quality pod all round.

Love Mad Dog, every podcast he’s featured in has been a cracker.

We wouldn’t have been relegated if he was given that season but then again it was that relegation that galvanised us.

Brilliant cast, as usual, what a treat to hear proper blokes, talking sense and  using appropriate swearwords :) could listen to Mad Dog all day long....If it were my club he'd be Cities manager tomorrow.

Anyone watching the game on ITV now?

That Ric moment talking about Guillem has to be one of the funniest moments on the podcast to date for me.

Gwillem

Thanks mate, getting there. Think we will now wait to do a pod after the weekends game.

Sorry for missing a week. Plenty to talk about as always 🙈

Love the Mad Dog episode, great insight in the Mandric era.

Interesting to hear his comments on Rudkin.

Also his views on the role of a DOF, it's pretty different to what a lot on here believe.

@Ric Flair sense you were a little gutted the Mad Dog didn't two foot Rudkin.

Hahaha no I found it funny. Maybe Rudkin will engineer thr return of Maddog if Cooper continues to disappoint? 😂

Rudkin being a nice bloke is probably not a great surprise. You'd imagine he'd be long gone if he was an arsehole.

I've made do with the LCFC Pubcast in the meantime.

I do kind of like those guys, even if they're a bit self righteous.

And one of them is called 'killer'.

Tim ogg pubcast - "i'd give Cooper a few more games, it's too early yet, although i have a feeling it'll end badly."

why would you opt to give him more time then? makes no sense

Apologies once again for no pod this week, we'll be back after the Bournemouth game.

I've been working on getting some decent LCFC past and present players lined up for future episodes and may have something in the very near future to look forward to...!

Also myself and Jake are running the Leicester Half marathon next Sunday and have set up a fundraising page for the brilliant LAMP charity we represent. If anyone could spare any loose change we'd be so appreciative and/or if anyone will be there on the day to participate or spectate. I know of a few other posters on here....

Cheers 💙
