Remember going to Walsall last time ( and only time) we played them in the fa cup in late 70's, hope we do better this time ( 0-1)

LCFC t.i d.

Was Alan Buckley playing for them. Good goalscorer- always wanted us to sign him. Went on to play for Birmingham

I'd forgive everything Rodgers puts us through with the league if we kept winning Cups.

Easily. Football is about winning. The more trophies for us, the better.

He was brilliant for 2 years, people are capable of being both Brilliant and shite as we seen with Ranieri.

Yes, but you talk about him winning another FA cup. If we finished mid table this season and won the FA cup, would you consider that a success?

Remember being at their old gtound, shitty away end on a slope. Sure Mike Newell scuffed a shot at goal and my mate starting hurling abuse at him and the ball went into the net somehow for a 1-0 win. Happy days

Fellows Park. Proper old school lower league ground. Loved it.

Well the bloke who contributed the most to us winning the FA Cup, Rodgers doesn't rate. Doesn't exactly highlight Rodgers's brilliance does it?

Can't argue with that particular point!

Must be such a fun life being so positive.

I think this is just light hearted in the context of our current struggles.

Can't remember if he played, very likely, but I think it was Alun Evans that got their goal. Was a bit lively in the Leicester end that day too if I recall correctly.

With big teams matching up this early on you’d expect the best of the rest to make the final. Very nice set of fixtures

I would say that would be a success every season as it's getting near on impossible to get top 4 for Champions League & cup wins have to be our chance to get into Europe

However I would say this year it will not be a success, it would be an absolute miracle!

This will probably make the TV, we are so shaky that TV execs will be licking their lips at a cup upset

When you look at it like this, it’s a decent shout.

Wrexham will likely be on. You’d assume any of the “big six” will be on. So that’s a potential 4 more. Think there’s 7 tv slots?

Nearly as 'lively' as Oldham  in 79!

Walsall away in 2009 is one of my favourite away games of all time. Really looking forward to this.

Same for me. I think only Hereford & Southend away from that season top that game.

Yeah my dad said he went. Said we were awful and the Leicester fans were not at all happy so decided to push the burger van over 😂.
