No other game for West Mids Police to worry about as well.

They will wait until Thursday - if by some

miracle we win Tuesday, we have the League Cup semi finals either side

Makes Tues game even more important

strong line up for both semis finals and we can pay weak side for Walsall

Fellows Park, late eighties or early nineties. I think we lost 2-1. I do remember a sign about fans not wearing favours, I think they were referring to hats and scarves. It didn’t make sense at the time and still doesn’t 30 years later.

Yes, but you talk about him winning another FA cup. If we finished mid table this season and won the FA cup, would you consider that a success?

It would be a massive success, I don't think we will win the FA Cup tho, I just went along with somebody's suggestion that we would, even if we did, we could still end up like Wigan if we don't fix the recruitment strategies moving forward.

Quoting myself, it’s come to me now. We had Nicky Cross and he was playing  against his former team.

Sure they had Steve Corica and Vinnie Samways in midfield for them when we last played them in the Championship.

The League One match their was great.

Think we played Walsall in the late 70's. I went to their ground to buy tickets for the FA cup game because no tickets left for away fans. Got into their end jumped over the pitch wall and walked around to our end. Think we lost :nono:

Gone are the days.

You'd have face recognition banning you from within a million miles of the ground nowadays.

Did that a few times in the 80's.

Once in particular, away to Watford ... came out of the pub behind their end, just before KO .    Now in those days, to get to the away end, you had to walk miles out of your way, past allotments and all sorts.

So we just went straight into the home end, out the front, walked around the pitch, and pleaded innocence as we jumped into the away end.   Happy days!

Our route to the final this season:

3rd round  Gillingham 0 Leicester City 1  (scorer: Iheanacho)
4th round  Walsall 0 Leicester City 1  (scorer: Iheanacho)
5th round  Stevenage 0 Leicester City 1  (scorer: Iheanacho)
Qtr final  Grimsby Town 0 Leicester City 1  (scorer: Iheanacho)

Semi final  Wrexham 0 Leicester City 1  (scorer: Iheanacho)

I'll take that every season if it meant winning it.

I'm not sure it'll be played Sunday as Villa ladies have already got a game booked there that date.

Got definite Friday or Monday night potential.

Now we've won the thing we're in the same bracket as previous winners who are pretty much guaranteed a TV slot especially when an upset is on the cards.

7 live games last round so i'd be amazed if this isn't one.

Reckon we will either have exactly the same slot or one of the weekday ones.

I'm not sure the nation is quite ready for any more of Brendan's all-action, entertaining brand of football.  😴

Agreed but think it's a given, especially when you look at the draw above, it's hard to pick out 7 ties and hard to ignore a league 2 vs prem tie

Agree with this. Although if it was WAYNE ROONEY'S Derby or FRANK LAMPARD'S Derby - that game would be a cert

Can't be Monday as Walsall have a midweek game. This will be Friday night or Saturday. If Villa ladies are playing there on the Sunday, they might play this on the Friday night to not have 2 games in 2 days on the pitch.

Would require Walsall moving a game on shortish notice and us not winning tomorrow.

West Mids Police be encouraging a weekend as well because they haven’t got to police another game

We can beat Walsall if Rogers and the players have their heads screwed in.
it’s being consistent in the league that’s causing us problems at the moment.

desperately need an injection of fresh new players and return of our injured guys for for the form to pick up starting at forest.

Rodgers would then drop Iheanacho for the final.

On the grounds that he is unable to control the ball like his replacement Perez
