...I  totally get what you are saying,  but if we could get 10k of supporters to come out to demonstrate that would make people sit up and take notice!!!

If the whole 30k was offered free doughnuts and a pint of beer, you would not get half of the people coming down, family commitments would take care of that.

Would it be fair on the Women's game, scheduled for today, to have this on their doorstep.

Judging by the (lack of) reaction or even discontent by the spectators at our matches, I'd estimate less than 10% are even bothered!

That equates to around 3000!

ANY protest for any reason would not get more than 30% of discontented people actually turn up.

So best case? circa 900.

To expect or even hope for any more is I'm afraid in the realms of fantasy.

Sometimes ships hit icebergs and no matter how much a small group of passengers warn and protest if the captain wont listen - it sinks.

Sounds like we have a call to arms here. Those that don't attend for whatever reason, get yourselves down on Saturday. No excuses like you can't get a ticket, you can with a bit of effort. If you really can't make it then consider sending a donation to UFS (banners are not free).

If you are really bothered about what's happening to our club then do something other than rant on socials. Time to mobilise.

My wheelchair has a flat, and the plane arrives on Monday,so I won’t be any use..

So. How did the protest go?

I think if you recalculate that with 1%, you’d be about right

So many on this forum complaining about how our club is being badly run, and moaning about the lack of action by fans attending the games.

Yet what are you all doing about it, sat at your keyboards?

Something we can all do here is to email our protests to the board.  I keep pushing this but get very little enthusiastic response.  How many of you have taken the trouble to do that?

It's so easy to do.  Simply email [email protected] or [email protected], preferably both, with your complaint.

It might do no good at all but it's better than just sitting on our a*ses whingeing.  Who knows, if board members are inundated with emails then they may feel compelled to take notice ... and action.

But this is a Titanic level problem, do the passengers love swimming in those ice cold waters…

Titanic changes SOS, wireless codes, safety boats on ships, the class system…

The Leicester Fosse management team, then WWI, then history changed…

And USA won everything ( according to them)

Tea lady put a curse on us way back then,King Dick helped lift it,but we could never foresee…After Pearson creating top Backform staff, Ranieri with the worse in Draconian ways, dismamtled it…Puel had to rebuild, but couldn’t manage..

Rodgers started good management but couldn’t rebuild…then fell off a cliff.

Club invested off the pitch, but nobody to organise the new off field treasures.

KP backing hit that Iceberg, and strong coffers went down & sank with Corona ..

We since that new launching, after the title, after having the best of PL,recruitment and medical backroom staff….Smashed dismantled the whole schimbag….on the whim of a mad Italian…( though we all love ,the other side of him). Which was more costly…

Our transfer ins, looked like a list of duds on an expensive firework night…with the odd nice rocket, exploding decent displays…

Rodger ,Top ,Whelan & Rudkin, might of Promised each other something, quite honourable, but ffs let that promise go.. nobody could foresee that 4th bulkhead being over swamped and the riff so long…

Apologies, the email addresses should end "lcfc.co.uk", not "lcfc.com".

Look the whole country couldn’t of been bothered with B.Johnson and that other excuse of a PM, why should people bother about a wasted past-time,and return to the usual cold nights at Rotherham…We are masochists we love the pain,so we

can moan & whine…We can’t handle success ,it confuses us…Better Khartoum & Dunkirk…We can’t handle or think up posts that cover success..only to find fault..:teehee:

Correct. Just like the average human being has an IQ which would class them  stupid, the average number of arms per human being is less than 2 and the average person is classed as a terrible driver. The average human being is happy being unhappy and is too weak to take any action to change their lives, safe in the knowledge it’s not worth taking a risk to improve things.

I love reading your mental and cryptic posts on here and hope mine above is somewhat at your level

lets put things into perspective here.

Everton fans are fed up because they've been miss managed for decades, we've had the best few years in our history and things aren't going very well for one season. it's not great no, but this is what happens in football when you don't have the funds to shake things up in the transfer window.

Sh1ts been a lot worse than this only a few years ago.

COYB

Agreed. 5th, 5th and 8th. This season has been a disaster and Top appears to be MIA but let’s get some perspective. Some of the hysteria in here is ridiculous, so we want to be toxic like Everton? Where the board cannot even attend a game, which in itself is brainless as if they’re not there you can’t protest in front of them. .

John Runkin is never not seen hanging out of Tops ass

The guy is director of football, ie he should direct all football matters

Those with a decent memory will know that his experience is very limited. He dined out on 2015/16. Pearson (like him or not) built and created the infrastructure that won the league, he was constantly clashing with Rudkin and clearly didn't rate him. Pearson was obviously right.

Rudkin is paid to communicate at all levels, any childish protests by those with short memories aimed at the board should be aimed at Rudkin. The guy is getting away scot free, what does he actually do?

Everything leads to the board though, even if you blame others along the way.

Unhappy with Rodgers and the performances from the last 2 years? The board appointed him and sat back for that time and watched.

Rukin has been stealing a living for years here? The board appointed him amd employ him to do what he apparently doesn't do.

Unhappy with player recruitment in recent times? The board sign off on each signing/contract extension and employ the people that are responsible for everything before that point.

No investment? The board are responsible for investment.

Not swapping the kop/family stand? Board.

Sh!t goal music? You guessed it.... Board.

Ultimately they are directly responsible for the running of the club or hiring the people to run specific aspects for them. If that's not being done adequately, then they have to take their share of the blame. Just like when things are going well, and we are being hailed as one of the best run clubs around, they should rightly take the lions share of the plaudits.

Unless, I've lost a week somewhere then the talk is about making a protest at the Brighton match on Saturday.

I don't think anyone is suggesting disorder like at Everton. The message can be made clear without intimidating people. I want no part of that and I'd suggest that neither do most others. A few banners (if they can get past security) will be picked up in the media creating the the sort of bad publicity the club wants to avoid. Vocally letting those in charge will be noted. Its not the 70's which involved chucking bricks through the Main Stand windows. We've moved on but the passion still remains in some of us.

Yes, but you quoted me. No idea why. I didn't mention anything about a protest today. You know how it works on these threads. Starts off on one topic and morphs into something else. However, the general theme is protest despite the thread title.

People are underplaying the situation here. If we go down; those TV money backed loans have to gotta find a new source. So there goes the parachute payments. We’d be in a really difficult place.

Yes it’s been a lot worse. Equally it’s never been as good as this and that’s the problem. We are the process of throwing all the good away and all the real development in building fanbase etc.
