A lot of Everton fans kicking off at their board because of that press release they did about security and safety. Apparently it's been put out by the board purely to avoid being there today, and the stuff about their CEO being in a headlock was bollocks and leaked by the board themselves.

Think boos or chanting Rodgers Out for 90min will have more effect

....you will not get traction in the ground, the supporters attending are not on the sane page as you!!!

The will probably ask you to sit down,  they do not have the same pain that you are carrying.

Headlock? Ffs.

Anyone know when Top is back in the country?

Does he still fly in to Luton?

I'm going to kidnap him

Not true. If enough season ticket holders decide not to turn up the club canot sell those seats on they have already sold it to the holders. It would only take just one match where 10 thousand holders refused to attend to get national news coverage on the clubs demise and the unhappiness of the fans with the club and owners.

I'm really up for this kind of protest as I don't really wanna waste another of my Saturdays watching this shite.

Seriously this needs to be done. No fight. No passion. They were shit and we just rolled over.

If they aren't going to show they care, we might as well

At the game today were you?

I'm not excusing Rogers, just I know things like this happen in modern football when you don't strengthen each transfer window.

I've had the best few years ever watching Leicester recently and i'm well happy with that!

...probably you epitomise the supporters which go to games!!!

The success that we have had recently is more than you could have expected and there are no more goals to aim for. We have garnered everything that was available to us. Champions League would be out of reach, so you would not be fussed competing for the top 4, going to live games with friends and family,  you have become content.

Perhaps your take on this is a more sane and rational way of living, but I want to make Champions League again on merit, I want to win the F A  Cup to prove we did not get lucky the first time, and at this rate, Newcastle could emulate what we achieved as the league is so disjointed and they just need to be consistent.

There are many people who are seeking to take back control of this club, as it appears the club no longer caters for the ordinary man in the street, by them (the Club) applying a corporate spin with their outlook.

The outcome  l fear will be, if you are not part of the solution, you are part of the problem, but that will remain to be seen.

A protest can often be about a specific thing with a specific target and a specific demand / hope. In this case I’m hearing “Rodgers”, “the clubs lack of investment” and “the clubs refusal / delay in sacking Rodgers.”
I’m sure banners will display specific grievances but I’m just highlighting that it‘s not a singular issue, if it was then “our situation - threat of relegation” would sum it up.

Personally I believe the club expected to receive an acceptable offer for Youri last summer to meet their “model”, it didn’t come and we were s*****d. How sincerely can we take talks of trying to get Forfana to stay? Had he stayed we wouldn’t have had that income and considering the majority of that income was not made available to Rodgers shows how farcical the summer was. If Wes stays then what? We go bust? Even with annual instalment payments that’s a significant difference.

My banner would be “Whoever offered Vestergaard his contract - for a professional sportsman who can’t run or change direction - you need to explain it face to face to each of us.”

Our problems are deeper than that but the moment the ink dried on that contract our standards had lowered and we’d resigned ourselves to “existing” rather than “competing”.

Not retaining or replacing Lookman was inexcusable, yes man for man Praet returned but as a goal and assist contributor we’re a man down before a balls kicked, the worst window of all 20 clubs and surprise surprise we’re struggling.

Plus they would look pretty silly annoucing the usual 32 thousand odd attendance figure over the Tanoy when it would be pretty obvious at least ten thousand seats are actually empty.

You won’t get the supporters to buy in. Yesterday you’d be lucky if 10% of the end chanted for him to be gone.

I got to the ground at 4am this morning.

No bugger there!

Shouted Brendan Out a bit but don't think anyone heard me.

Waited until 4:30am and then headed home.

Apathetic fan base.

lets put things into perspective here.

Everton fans are fed up because they've been miss managed for decades, we've had the best few years in our history and things aren't going very well for one season. it's not great no, but this is what happens in football when you don't have the funds to shake things up in the transfer window.

Sh1ts been a lot worse than this only a few years ago.

COYB

It's scary that this opinion still exists. Crazy levels of delusion and exactly the kind of head burying that has found us in this mess

Any protest at the ground wouldn't gather enough people to make it look a real problem. Top will still think the majority of supports are happy with what's happening.

Precisely this.

Said it before but we here are an island, a group of people who care about our club.

The majority of attending spectators seem now to be little more than brainwashed robots incapable of distinguishing fact from media/club propoganda and hype.

The only protests worth a jot is the majority of the spectators voicing discontent on several occasions during a match- about the same likelihood as Top sacking the teflon dwarf- adjacent to zero.

Denial + brainwashing is almost impossible to resist (see Putins Russia).

Even if by some miracle 1000 people turned up outside today, it means 30,000+ people didn't and so by extension are content with the present situation and

the media would not be interested as Rodgers is not in their crosshairs.

Similarly as and when we go down the media cry will be "nobody expected that" and other pro fraud bullsh!t.

I truly believe we are a minority here, but that doesn't mean we are wrong, it means we are fans NOT spectators.

If we didn’t turn up to games I wouldn’t be surprised if the club were ballsy enough to just sell our tickets….. I get emails all the time asking me if I want to sell my ticket and get a smidge of the price.

****ing shambles from top to bottom at the moment.

...I  totally get what you are saying,  but if we could get 10k of supporters to come out to demonstrate that would make people sit up and take notice!!!

If the whole 30k was offered free doughnuts and a pint of beer, you would not get half of the people coming down, family commitments would take care of that.

Would it be fair on the Women's game, scheduled for today, to have this on their doorstep.

The away end was absolutely pathetic. Most the people in my section weren’t even singing, or getting involved. Its Derby day. Our fanbase is absolutely shocking. Its the old brigade not the new.
