Did any protest happen today?

I'm wondering if it would have had any affect anyway - do we know if any of the hierarchy were even at the stadium lol?

If lots of people turned up outside the ground, making a scene, then the club and its hierarchy would know about it quite quickly wouldn’t they?

I agree. I was just wondering for the instant impact and garnering immediate attention it's better to do it on a day where you know staff are present there.

Yep, match day mainly. Everyone is there.

Knock a template up and put it on here for people to copy and paste / edit to suit.

I’m not great a writing stuff like that

This is the essence of my post:

"

I've followed Leicester City for over 65 years during which time I've studied many different management styles.

I feel certain that under Brendan Rodgers this club will be involved in a relegation dogfight this season and, given the weak mentality of our squad, we will be in the worst position to emerge successfully from it.  Rodgers has overseen a gradual decline throughout our squad and looks to have no clue how to turn it around.

His initial success came on the back of inheriting a squad of great potential but I feel that after his first 9 months his mismanagement has seen a gradual yet inevitable deterioration, masked by his clever self-marketing that has fooled many pundits.

Many fans have identified his failings to include:  a training/medical regime that results in lack of squad fitness and players' susceptibility to injury;  poor judgement in bringing in new players;  alienation and blocking of players which reduces the effectiveness of the squad;  poor team selection and players asked to play in roles that don't match their particular skills;  amateurish game management and misuse of substitutes;  risible defensive organisation;  inability to infuse the team with the desire and determination that are essential in today's game.  Recently, even, he gives the impression of having lost his way and his motivation.

Every extra game that is played under his charge now reduces the number of games available for his successor to turn things around.  The consequences of relegation for this club that I, and so many other supporters love, are dire.

I urge you to use your influence to convince Top to give no more chances to this man but to dispense with his involvement immediately, especially before we play any "six-pointers" where we cannot afford to lose ground on our relegation competitors.  I am convinced that the performance of our players would improve immediately, even were the reins to be taken up by our in-house assistants for a few weeks before a successor could be appointed.

"

I don't propose this as a template, nor can I recommend it as the best approach - it is simply my attempt to influence the board.

Clearly it's possible that board members will dismiss the import of emails they receive, but if they are flooded with similar emails then they might feel forced to take notice.  At the end of the day nothing can be lost by making such an attempt, and it beats just sitting on our hands and moaning to each other.

......

I don't propose emails as an alternative to other kinds of protest, but as an addition.   Any protests that can be made are better than doing nothing, and the more protests of different kinds, the better.

The response to my emails was an acknowledgement that the email had reached the intended recipient and would be considered.   As I said before, who knows if they will have an effect, but it's better than doing nothing.

Thanks.

People sending emails literally sums up why as a fanbase we still have Rodgers in charge.

look at Everton v our attempts at creating change for our club.

We are an absolute joke.

God helps us if our fans came even close to the actions of scum at Everton. NO! NO! NO!

"It was the best of times, it was the worst of times.... the last few years have undoubtedly been 'the best of times''; Premier League Champions, European tours, Vardy, Mahrez , Kante and the rest, FA Cup Winner for the first time ever....  :appl:

The current situation is a million miles away from the 'worst of times' I have experienced since I first supported the club. Booing and Banners during the game is not something I will ever support.

Look the whole country couldn’t of been bothered with B.Johnson and that other excuse of a PM, why should people bother about a wasted past-time,and return to the usual cold nights at Rotherham…We are masochists we love the pain,so we

can moan & whine…We can’t handle success ,it confuses us…Better Khartoum & Dunkirk…We can’t handle or think up posts that cover success..only to find fault..:teehee:

So true

Has it not crossed your mind that some supporters are unable to get to the KP and can only register their protest in the best way they can?

Ok then Jonny boy please detail what your action plan is and you’ve got at least one follower in me.
Unless your action is rimming Everton fans ‘sceeeeenes’ on Twitter and telling Alan from compliance how angry you are in which case you haven’t

When the fanbase turns on the fanbase, you just know the fanbase has turned on the fanbase.

And once you turn around twice, you end up where you started anyway.

I don't know of anyone who is happy with the state of affairs at our Club and, without doubt, Top knows this too.

Folk can protest all they like, ditch their season tickets, walk away and not attend any more matches but in essence that is not going to help the situation or make an iota of difference.

Events like this appear to be cyclical in football and over the 60 odd years I have been supporting this Club I've been through the not so many highs and an awful lot of lows.

We can all pontificate and if I knew the answer I would be the owner of the Club but what we all need to remember there is not a bottomless pit of cash.

I've reworded and put mine in, thanks.

I added a last paragraph asking them all to resign as well (after they've sacked Rodgers of course)
