Rudkin is a symptom, Aiyawatt the cause. Rudkin obviously the biggest symptom by quite a way though.

The club lose £180k a day iirc, I think they need every penny they can get their hands on.

Agreed they must be losing a bit of money..

All down to going over ambitious and paying high wages to what turned out to be

terrible signings.A good strategy to try to

Retain our top signings-just really poor recruitment.

180k per day is a figure plucked out of thin air. No substance.

Susan Whelan never seems to get any mention even though she’s supposed to be in charge of finances

65m per year in losses is insane.

I worked that figure out from our last 3 year loss cycle which is publicly available, I can't be arsed to do it again right now but I'm pretty sure it was £180k a day. So it has substance thanks 👍🏼

Somewhat surprised - given the size of squad, PSR issues circling us and need to trade before we can buy -  that we haven't sold anyone at this point.

Given his release clause / low fee, I expect Wilf will go - even if it is late in the window - but I had hoped we would have already waved goodbye to Faes and or Coady.

You could probably argue we would want / need to move on 5+ this Summer and Rudders has never really be great at moving on players we don't want / need

Mads

Coady

Faes

Daka

Kristiansen

Ndidi

Soumare

Vestergaard

(one of) Skipp / Hamza

Bilal

I don't expect there will be many (perhaps any) incomings except for a striker which we are desperate for.

Just for the avoidance of doubt:

21/22: £92.5m loss

22/23: £89.7m loss

23/24: £19.4m loss.

Total £201.6m loss over that three year period. Average of £184,110 loss a day for that three year period.

Tbf the losses seem to be reducing so it likely won't be so bad anymore.

Are you really surprised?  As you said our record at selling is p1ss poor.  Largely because we've bought a load of flops and/or journeymen and paid them huge wages.

It's going to take a miracle to get a couple out let alone the 5 or 6 we need.

I guess not really,  given who is in charge, but I am considering the financial sh*t we are in.

And yet seemingly devoid of criticism? As CEO, the failures sit firmly with you also.

She’s not good enough. Somehow though is never / or rarely mentioned.

Not only a picture of this club stalwart, but you also got a brief shot of Tops glasses in the same sequence...we are so blessed.
