Everyone says how much they love the Dogs of War one. However enough fans complained to the club about it that they forbid the group to do surfers of that size again.

It's a shame the same amount of complaints (seemingly) haven't been made towards the clappers. They surely wouldn't have continued introducing them if so, at other clubs they simply would never have taken off.

We asked to know how many complaints were made to them on the back of that tifo. They wouldn't tell us.

I struggle to believe it was many.

Costings for yesterday’s display. We will always give up our time to keep our displays as cost effective as possible as allow the fanbase's generosity to go as far as possible.

I liked this one a lot.

For what it is I think that's a very reasonable price too.

Happy to contribute to these displays.

It’s disappointing they didn’t share that info. You would have thought the plaudits outweighed any negatives with that tifo - one of the group’s best in my opinion.

£200 now, thank you.

It would be wonderful if we could get to half the amount of the display back from donations.

Just cleared the £300 mark.

Maybe wasn't as great as Dogs of War but so what?  It helped produce a boost to the atmosphere at the beginning of the match.  Thanks for your efforts, small donation sent.

p.s. Reading some of the quoted posts on this thread has confirmed that my Ignore list is precision targeted.  Uselessness and negativity ... what a combination.

Were we shouting for Brum? Blues? £850 for that, hardly inspiring stuff like Dogs of War etc. Thank god they bought the clappers back 🤣🤣🤣

No avatar, lower case first letter, inane comment bent on knocking the efforts of others for no apparent reason - you could be the quintessential yet utterly pointless Leicester fan.

I've never been involved with a Tifo, so forgive me.

1)  designed by fans who wear blue shirts, and used to sing about a big bloke who "is a blue"

2) funded by fans who wear blue shirts, and used to sing about a big bloke who "is a blue"

3) organised by fans who wear blue shirts, and used to sing about a big bloke who "is a blue"

4) displayed by fans who wear blue shirts, and used to sing about a big bloke who "is a blue"

Each piece a tiny bit of foil that has been rolled up and kept tidy with an elastic band by who wear blue shirts, and used to sing about a big bloke who "is a blue"

... and some twat complains about the use of the word "blue"?

There are 30,000 odd people in the ground and however many outside it that are Leicester fans, all will have an opinion good or bad on the tifo designs. Thats alright really.

What I would say though is there is so much mistruths about UFS slung about here and online. In terms of tifo's if anyone does have design ideas we would welcome hearing them for sure! We are Leicester fans and all should be on the same page to improving things both short term and long term.

It's very easy to get in touch with the group, sling them a few quid and get talking designs.

For what's it's worth I like the tifos and appreciate the effort involved. Don't like the clappers so don't use one but get the intention. Fair enough to those that do. Freedom of choice. However, will the growing green lobby stop/complain about the use of plastic that's not essential? Is the plastic recycled?!

I wonder what happens at Forest Green Rovers!

Seemingly being the key word, I think it's beyond reasonable doubt that the club receive far more complaints about clappers than fan displays. But it's their ground so they do what they want.

Also one or two complaints about the use of the word 'blues' and about half of the thread is dedicated to proving that poster wrong. Just let him be, people are allowed to complain. I loved the display, as I do all of them, and I met someone pre-match who detailed how hard it is to do it (I think the exact quote was each rolling 500 bits of foil up by hand, then individually placing them on seats..) Incredible effort, huge praise

There is no denying it is not the most 'green activity' in the world. That being said the group 100% tries where possible to be resourceful. For example all message banner poles are re used, any left over foils will be stored and used again, small flags we try and pick up as many after tifo to use again.  We are a group who funding wise has to be like that.

Did the club give you any more information about the complaints? How many? Where they sit? What their actual problem was? Was it the timing as in they couldn’t see the players come out? Or something else?

It would be interesting to collect some data for yourself that you could present back to the club about fans favourite TIFO and what they liked about them.

I often speak to fans of other clubs, and if the conversation turns to TIFO the dogs of war always comes up as a favourite.

Not really, we were never told a number. Only that it was those in the Kop complaining about their view being blocked.

It was under a different regime of staff and it must be said that the ones we deal with now specifically on the tifos have made the process improve.

We are in the early stages of arranging a Q&A or get to know UFS evening type thing so we could use that as a night to delve a little deeper into what people like and don't like tifo wise. Good idea.

Great that other fans of clubs picked up on it. I look back on it now and wonder how on earth we did it. We are so much more organised now that we possibly were. Plus the size and work that went into that specific one still blows me away.

given someone on here mentioned reusing the dogs of war one, what do you do with the old surfers? would imagine they take up a bit of space to hang on to and not sure if you recycle given they’re painted on

Due to the size of them they just can't be kept in any of the groups garages or flats etc.

Would also say that part of the idea of them is they are one time thing.

The drawn out "Come on you Blues" chant seemed to disappear when we moved to Filbert Way, but we definitely have a history of our own fans referring to us as 'Blues'.

The Sevilla H tifo must have been so heavy as it was painted on fabric. The Forest one wasn't light and that was smaller and painted on foil - the logistics of putting these on is really difficult.
