I think you can’t sign anyone who was out on loan last season as they’ll be contracted to the club they’re on loan to until the 30th of June? Maybe I’m wrong but that’s why I’m hoping we haven’t signed/loaned anyone who was out on loan last season yet

Agreed.  I know some people will say "playing cards close to the chest" etc. 

 

But now in today's age of information, news about transfers is leaked all the time.  Agents, club staff, players telling friends etc, news outlets picking up information. Not much coming out about us right now

I thought there would be strong links with us regarding incomings and outgoings daily, if we have to bring 10 players in and sale 4/5 in space of 4 weeks that’s going to be crazy

I wasn't counting the summer of 2021. Since then (2 years ago) we've signed just 5 players. Grim.

I think it better to focus on windows .

 

In the last 4 windows we have brought 8 player, two of which were free.

 

We have spent 100m in those 4 window.

 

The issue isn't the number of player or the amount of money spent it the quailty.

 

If we had brought in 3 players for 100m who were as good and improved the first 11 we would have been OK.

 

The fact is we brought in 8 who don't get into out best 11. 

 

1 X CB who 5 choice.

 

2 X CB would wouldn't displace a fit Jonny E or Soyuncu. so 3 and 4 choice.

 

CF who 3 choice.

 

LB who joint 3rd choice when everyone is fit.

 

A LB who never been fit. 

 

GK 3rd choice.

 

CM who isn't first choice in a midfield 3.
