week off for France next, Dupont needs/wants game time. The alternative is play him against NZ then bench him for 4 weeks until QF, could pick up that kind of injury in training as well

I'm not entirely convinced a run out against Namibia in a hundred point win is doing a massive amount to prepare him for a world cup quarter final it I'm entirely honest.

realistically we're only having this discussion in hindsight cus he got injured. Was on fire in the first half, just unlucky he got walloped. Put yourself in his shoes, does he want to sit on the bench until they play an opposition that's deemed decent enough for him to play? Try telling Ronaldo he can't play against san marino

ITVs coverage has been awful so far. Seems they have commentators who don't know the rules.

 

Argentina just went over Samoa's try line and the commentator said "it's a try, the referee has given it!" when clearly he had just awarded a penalty to Samoa.

The highlight was when the co-commentator said ' you cant see it from your screens but most of the stadium have the torch on thier phones, its like a concert!'
