The guy gets good experience, in theory, but is probably less likely to play regular first-team football. Also how do they set up? And in the CL are they going to be playing in a manner Pochettino would like? Sure, the higher standard will help him but being in and out of the side plus potentially not playing sexy football may not be what Chelsea want for his development.
