Is there a case to play Brayrbooke in his position when he comes back from his loan? He might need some time to get settled but at least he has a future here and can put in a tackle unlike Winks.

Needs to leave in January even if for a nominal fee; has pretty much checked out since Enzo left last summer, but this season has been nothing short of a piss take.

The only problem is this version of Winks is still better than Bouba/Skipp.

No it isn’t, it’s better than Bouba I grant you but would much rather see Skipp alongside JJ or recall Braybrooke in January and let him play alongside JJ than see Winks toss it off for another second in our midfield.

JJ playing next to Skipp is probably better TBF, good point.

 

Can we bin off Wout if dumping players from the squad too?

Too be honest there are a good few I would dump given half a chance.

Unless the player is a world beater like Mahrez, Messi etc.  Then mentality is as important as the ability of the player.  Winks just isnt good enough that when he isnt in the mood, fragile and so on that he can be carried.

james is great in central midfield, winks has been hopeless for two yrs, get rid asap, as in don’t play him saturday

JJ is indeed great in midfield but he does a different job to winks. So who is sitting next to our slightly behind JJ so he can maraud forward?

Ridiculously high opinion of himself. Thinks he's a great, but even the good still have the attitude to be a shining light in dark times.
