The last 2 games have shown the club is in free fall. We need someone that can bring some dominance back in midfield, control and pass the ball forwards. With the recent injuries and ongoing fire sale I don’t know why Leicester wouldn’t turn to Winks if he looks fit and motivated and IMO he did put a shift in today.

3 rubbish failures of managers dropped him.

Yet the only good manager we've had adored him.

What does that tell you?

That Winks has been a little bitch after Maresca left.

Just a different shade of shit until we have Skipp and James back.

How about when he was happy for pics to be posted on social media of him enjoying an Aperol whilst his teammates were getting dicked at home again? How about when he didn't celebrate scoring against Huddersfield? Are these facts allowed?

Honestly think he wants and we need him to go. Andy King needs all the help he can get and if he is willing to muck for now so be it. He won't be here next year that is a certainty.

I definitely think it would be better for all parties if he found a club and we were able to replace him with a loan or something.

Hes only here for another 5 months at most, if Kingy or new manager can get him to buy in for the remainder of this season then I'll take it and in the summer be happy hes a distant memory.

I'd say he put ashift in because he's hoping for a move before Monday. There's supposed to interest in him.

Works for me. Shame there's not chance for him to make a bit more effort before the transfer window shuts.

He is a without doubt a very good footballer and I am a fan but he appears to be a primadonna. I use the word appears because we dont know. We will get his version when his inevitable autobiography comes out. We all work, we may not like the boss but we get on with it. There is a reason he was not getting picked and that reason is not his ability it must be attitude. For me as a suffering fan he owes the fans big time.

One day he may be a manager and find out that it is not easy

He's releasing a book on his 40th birthday, he's calling it 40 Winks.

Ironic really, as we're sleep walking towards relegation

If any player's heart isn't in it then get rid and out regardless of ability. I genuinely don't know how winks feels or ultimately what's gone on behind the scenes but watching today, he did show desire and plenty of effort. There's absolutely no doubt he can control a midfield in this league if he's on it. You can see the levels above he is ability wise compared to hamza for example. Based on today, he has to start at Birmingham

Hilarious. Happy Clap FC.

Just because someone has a different opinion to you they are happy clappers. This comment is typical of some on here. I'm not a HAPPY CLAPPER as you suggest. I think the club has been run into the ground by Top and Rudkin. I don't clap at the end of games. I've been vocal both home and away at how poorly our club has been run, but because I suggest Winks is one of our better midfielders and I will support the new managers decision to play him, it makes me a happy clapper. Absolutely pathetic.

Tbf winks should be absolutely no where near our team. Regardless of our current plight he doesn’t want to be here and has downed tools when we’ve needed him. He is a disgrace

And you don’t see how players attitudes aren’t an issue? Winks is a cancer on the team.

Play it down as much as you like but the insta post was intended to be inflammatory and if you go looking for trouble, don’t complain if you find it.

Absolutely this. It’s funny that the supporters backing this ass clown don’t realise that Winks has shown them nothing but utter contempt as a fan base.

Not the Aperol that's the issue is it. Looks like we have a lot of cucks in our fan base who needs to develop a bit of self respect.

Yes, I do, but neither you or I know the details behind the problem. On the surface Winks' behaviour is totally unacceptable. This alleged behaviour happened whilst King was part of the management team. So for King to bring him back, maybe he feels the issue was more the previous managers rather than Winks. Saying Winks is a cancer is just an opinion, and for the record I tend to agree with you, but how many players have come out and said so. All I'm saying, is based on what I saw today, he improved the performance when he came on. Yes we conceded 2 goals (neither his fault) but we looked more threatening and had Ayew converted the penalty, I think we may have got something from the game.

Honestly, it’s like trying to teach algebra to chimps trying to get some of these guys to see sense.
