Don't really get the hate for Mavididi. He's obviously lost a lot of form and confidence and he's struggling in a system that creates very little and gives him no support but I've never felt he isn't trying or doesn't care tbh. 

 

Not somebody I hate at all and understand the system makes it difficult for him but his performances have been embarrassing this year (actually thought he was ok yesterday). He gets 10 times the space that Fatawu gets yet does nothing with it. And he's seemingly undroppable when you've got Monga (who hasn't torn it up either but at least has shown more in much less game time) rotting away. Understand we can't just have a team of kids so I know there is some logic but he shouldn't be so bulletproof.

 

He's also the sulkiest player I've ever seen; puts Zaha to shame.

 

But I will definitely defend him from the accusations of being lazy. Unfortunately, it's just that he doesn't work very smartly so chases around at the wrong time and his decision making has been awful (look at that chance yesterday when he had 3/4 chances to shoot before eventually hitting his own player).

Its merely a myth that he was ever was good.

I think this is harsh. He was perfectly good in a very specific system. Enzo definitely got the absolute best out of him. 

 

He's absolutely honked this season though, no doubt about that. Amazing how he's probably not even in our bottom ten performers, either.

I don’t know about rolling his sleeves but he’ll certainly be playing with his shorts as usual

I thought Mavididi was the player we had under Enzo, but that was just a flash in the pan and due to better players around him (KDH most notably) The real Mavididi is the player we see now. Useless. 

I will be so happy when he is sold in the Summer. Give him away for free if needed.

Mavididi is the hot thread on here but he’s been no worse than the other 3 attacking players. Daka, terrible, Monga, non existent and pocketed by Cresswell. Mukasa equally as scruffy on the ball as Mavididi and off the pace.

Agreed they've all been bad again. Its just that we've seen much more of Mavididi this season than the others and he's not had a good game all season, so its more of an accumulation thing.

Personal think he need a structure around him, our wingers have struggled all season whether its be Fatawu, Mavididi or Monga.

 

Take out Fatawu worldies he also had a poor season.

 

He's a championship player who struggling as part of a poor side.

Same can be said for all of the others really. Daka gets off so lightly - the lad is on 75k - 65k more than Mavididi a week suggesting where both players are in the standing at LCFC and yet Daka can’t even control a pass. They’ve all been poor in that first half but Daka and Monga were worse and Mukasa just as bad.
