See Blue tinted Glasses are having a pop at Stolarczyk on X, in pure click baity style.  I'm finding the vendetta against him outright odd.

You’re only calling it clickbait because it doesn’t fit your narrative. If it was a positive post about someone you dislike, you’d still call it clickbait. Stop being a clown.

He's made mistakes. What do you expect?

It said ‘Just a question, does anyone else get worried whenever Jakub has to do something?’

To which many people responded yes, and some disagreed. It’s called having a conversation about a player… if that’s clickbait, then half the posts on here must be the same😂

Which is fair enough but do you follow up that question with your rationale as to why you asked it?

I personally think Jakub is fine when considering our financial situation.

Out of curiosity, what would you do with our keeper situation?

How many games has Trafford played vs Jakub?

If we pick a keeper that comes through the academy, we have to let them develop. Otherwise what's the point? We are going to get this same attitude everytime one of them becomes a starter.

So let me get this right, we have to have a fully experience top drawer keeper to cover the defence? Also, i personally don't think that save was 'bad' - he was covering the otherside of the wall and the WB player kicked if at waist height right through the wall. And VK didn't track the attacker coming for the rebound.

He comfortably gets to it though, he should then be able to get it away from goal or out for a corner, he does neither.

I would yes, but on the post no one actually asked. They all gave their own reasons as to why they agreed.

I would keep Jakub as the number 1. I think he’s the best of the bunch! But I certainly think we need to upgrade next summer.

Not sure he can get that out for a corner, it's quite central because Carranza decides to move out of the way. If he tries to push that around the post then there's a good chance he pushes it into the side netting.

I think in this one given the circumstances he's probably done about as well as he can. The issue is we've seen it happen a few times, so fans will see the pattern and it's understandable to be concerned about the early pattern.

None of it happens if Carranza does his job though.

James Trafford was dropped for Muric by Burnley in 23/24 in the PL. Muric was a catastrophe for Ipswich so getting benched by him is impressive.

He then had a good season at championship level in 24/25.

He was then swiftly replaced at Premier League level by Man City after a couple blunders.

Stolarczyk was fine when we were in the PL last time, there's no guarantee that if we go up someone like Trafford doesn't commit the same errors that Stolarczyk gets blasted for. Trafford's record at that level is actually very spotty.

Always watch, so felt like i was allowed an opinion on your opinion :) It does feel there is needle out for Jakub though.

You can see a pattern because it is a pattern, on the whole I think he's a fine goalkeeper but we definitely need him to improve on those weak areas, ideally saving us from having to buy one for a few years yet.

He's only starting games because we're skint/PSR

Yeah agreed, I fully expect him to develop over the season and become more rounded. If we don't see improvement then we reassess.

Seeing people piling onto the lad on social media in his first full season when he's not even been that bad is a shame though.

Stolarcyk is going to be quality, not just 'fine' or 'alright'.  He is also still developing.  We'll look back at this thread in years to come and laugh at the mugs that don't see it.

I like him, I think he'll be a pretty decent lower PL keeper but that's about it imo - he's basically the same age as Hermansen.

I don't see it, very average at most things and poor at some

Why is he so pissing slow to get the ball out!!!??

I noticed this but even mads used to do this,it's like there told by the manager to hold it, so many times if he released the early ball today, we catch wrexham on the counter attack!
