Paninistickers Posted 7 January 2024 Posted 7 January 2024 I don't get the fuss over the Brighton boyfriend song (which is funny. Childish, but funny) nor the Chelsea rent boy songs. The law involving themselves in that. ..while Rome burns etc 1

ithuriel Posted 7 January 2024 Posted 7 January 2024 Millwall supporters are like a hive mind, why they make that annoying one note sound at times during a match, like they are all connected but there is very little there to share around and the shared brain cell is overheating. 1
David Hankey Posted 7 January 2024 Posted 7 January 2024 Millwall have never been right in the head. Unfortunately, they just use football as a vehicle to display their irresponsible, moronic behaviour. 1
Popular Post BKLFox Posted 7 January 2024 Popular Post Posted 7 January 2024 They were removed for a public order offence there’s probably a few it fits under; disorderly conduct, section 4A or due to where it took place fear or provocation of violence (potential of inciting violence/riot) They are not getting locked up they were removed and will receive a caution, depending on previous & a potential banning order which is right. Not sure why some defend it by saying just ignore it? Of course it’s childish but should it still come under the football ‘bants’ banner as it was done at a football match so it’s ok? I bet the families of those involved don’t think it’s bants just like the parents of that young Sunderland lad didn’t think what happened a few weeks ago didn’t. The whole culture needs to change, the feed the scousers, mocking a death, mocking players about their private lives…or what ever else it is. We don’t sweep racism under the carpet we shouldn’t be sweeping personal offending gestures or comments under the carpet either, where is it right to mock the death of a child (anyone) or does that fall under the guise of entertainment because it’s at a football match! I’m glad they were pulled out, I hope they get the caution and banning order it’s idiots like these that tarnish supporting for all and makes attending games a worrying experience due to ramifications that stupid gestures can create. 7

Exactly this. Over 18 months ago my business premises were burgled and vandalised by a large group of career scrotes. They sent their kids in to do the dirty work and the adults were on hand with vehicles taking away the goods. It was a few months after being closed for 18 months for C19. It was nearly the straw that broke the camel’s back. A couple of weeks ago I got a call from the local Bobby that was assigned to investigate it. Yep, it’s now made it to the top of his ToDo list. We were told by the attending police that night the group had done a handful of robberies the same evening . Imagine how many they’ve done since. Meanwhile, someone says or does something that hurts someone’s feelings and there’s instant response. There’s not an infinite police resource, let’s use it sensibly 11 1
grobyfox1990 Posted 7 January 2024 Posted 7 January 2024 No one is defending it by saying just ignore it, but the fact remains childish idiocy like this will stop if they don’t get a reaction, simple. Much like the cretins in our fan base with an IQ of 0.1 and a 23-year stint in the public sector singing feed the scousers, it’d prob stop if Everton/Liverpool stopped giving these children they attention they desperately crave and can’t get elsewhere. To compare this abuse to racism is farcical. Racism is ingrained behaviour which inhibits people from living in an orderly manner, with a whole host of other consequences. These idiots are finding a way to have a go at Leicester, next week it’ll be Norwich, then Blackburn… 4

On another note mind I’ve often thought that millwall will never achieve what someone like brentford or luton and many other small clubs in the past have because of their backwards thinking. They’re a club whose fanbase still look romantically back at the era of football hooliganism with pride. Their reputation stinks and no one of a certain level wants to be part of it. Wrexham or other such team will rise and make the premier league before they even get close. I reckon if you ask most ‘wall’ fans they wouldn’t want to go up. You get some really cry me a river comments on here about ‘sanitised game’ ‘the games gone’ ‘clubs a shambles’ nonsense but they’re prob a minority and will always slavishly and subserviently renew their STs anyway. I reckon millwall fans would boycott after one year in the prem

scinnell Posted 7 January 2024 Posted 7 January 2024 Unfortunately, all fanbases have them. The Leicester fans rattled on Twitter are the same fans who chant Clougies in a box. Awful behaviour across the board. 1

OntarioFox Posted 7 January 2024 Posted 7 January 2024 (edited) Shout-out the one Liverpool fan in that Twitter thread trying to make it all about them and turn it on us because of the whole 'feed the Scousers' thing. * If ever there was a reason to not rise to it and deprive it of attention and oxygen, that's a perfect example. As others have mentioned, we run the risk of the Streisand Effect kicking in and fans doing it to us purely because they know it gets a reaction out of us. * Though admittedly it could be any club the Scousers would hate if they got given fixtures against them seemingly every Christmas for a decade in a row. It just happened to be us that got given the low-hanging fruit over the course of multiple years. Edited 7 January 2024 by OntarioFox
Noahfence Posted 7 January 2024 Posted 7 January 2024 Just another couple of thick football fans isn’t it. Obviously disgusting but it happens so much in football now I just shrug my shoulders. You’ll never stop idiots being idiots 1

Unless these idiots go to funerals and wakes and mock the dead, I don't believe it is anything more sinister than just trying to get a reaction. It isn't funny, it is extremely pathetic but football fans have done it for decades. The whatabottery, you did this! stuff doesn't help. Fanbases are made up of a variety of people who have very different ways of behaving. I don't think our fans are proper Tory anymore than these morons really want to hurt our feelings. I'd like to think they'll shrug their shoulders and think 'idiots' before going about their normal day (if they even see it). Arresting people for mocking deaths, whether its about cancer, kids, helicopter crashes, tragedies or whatever is pointless and a waste of time. As someone above said, valuable resources gets put into this, for nothing but a crime statistic to help boost the numbers. I genuinely see grown blokes getting angry about these chants inside the ground and wonder how they get through life in the real world. 3
Saxondale Posted 7 January 2024 Posted 7 January 2024 What, poor behaviour from Millwall supporters? Well I never. Disgusting club followed by morbidly obese simpletons, the products of inbreeding in South London’s shittiest sink estates. IQs so low it’s impossible to measure. Ghetto-dwelling cockney scum. You know when clubs experience severe financial trouble and you think ‘I don’t like them, but I don’t want the club to disappear’? Clubs you love to hate. Well, if Millwall ever found themselves in that position, I’d be egging on the banks and the HMRC. Then they can form a phoenix club, so they can play at being racist cockney hard men playing in some wank South London league. See how far that gets them. 1 1 1

Had my car broken into once and they weren't bothered. Lost a drill that belonged to work but that was it. Wasn't a major incident but it's definitely more worth police time than this. Realised back then how upside down their priorities are.

I fully expect to see it on show next week in Coventry, unfortunately.
Popular Post rugbyblue Posted 7 January 2024 Popular Post Posted 7 January 2024 (edited) I remember a chant by city fans about Robert Maxwell drowning, aimed at Derby fans initially but regularly sung at matches. I also remember chants of Brighton's full of homosexuals when we played brighton. We aren't saints ourselves although I accept times move on. Yes the helicopter crash was very sad, a real dark moment for Leicester city and more specifically for the families of those involved. But come on, there are morons in every walk of life. If we really wanted, we could all be offended by people and get into arguments with people every ten mins of every day. But we choose to ignore idiots 9 times out of ten. Me personally, I'd rather police time was spent tackling knife crime, making sure my daughter can walk the streets safely, city centre patrols so we can all have a pint safely etc rather than on a couple of brainless morons who, lets face it, are hardly likely to change their ways as a result of a fine for a public order offence. Or would you rather that so we lose half of our fanbase to it. 6k in filbert st was not a fun day out. Morons like these should be arrested to stop others joining in. No I'm not upset by it. I just personally think it has no place in the game and needs to be stamped out. 2
SK3Blue Posted 7 January 2024 Posted 7 January 2024 They have always been lacking in brain cells. F Troop, Bushwackers, Halfway Liners, Treatment, all old Millwall firms, all thick as mince.
