Got the draw on the BBC sport app and Rob Walker is so cringe. Sat there dancing to Snooker theme tune lol

A Leicester derby lol

Selby v O’Connor. Will make Joe relax a bit more, they’re really good friends.

The bottom half was already loaded seed wise, adding these matchups to it...

Trump vs Vafaei

Williams vs Si

Ding vs Lisowski

G.Wilson vs Bingham

O’Sullivan vs Page

:schlupp:

The other three matches in the bottom half on paper are not bad either.

Yeah that bottom half Is stacked and the top quarter is a massive opportunity for a player to get to the semis, probably Carter boring himself over the line.

Its far too confusing for everyone to have Jak Jones and Jamie Jones on the tour let alone at the crucible, even for the commentators.

They should have a best of 19 shoot down, the winner gets a place in the top 16 for a few years, the loser retires from snooker forever.

He's so annoying it makes my skin crawl. Referring to the crucible as "the cruce" during the draw as well, had to turn off.

My god, that’s beyond Partridge.

He also found his way into the commentary box for games last year, so he's no longer just the annoying walk on idiot.

He's constantly being over-dramatic or trying to make really crap jokes, Partridge indeed.

His increasing prevalence genuinely means I'm watching less snooker.

I oddly find him far less annoying at commentary compared to presenting or interviewing players.

His commentary style is similar though and all about him.

All the best commentators, Barry Davies springs to mind, let the sport do the majority of the talking.

Also don't understand how he's even been given the chance.

Correct me if I'm wrong but all BBC commentary duos are former players, and very good ones at that.

Somehow Walker has muscled his way in.

I thought it was just me, as soon as i see or hear him I either switch over or hit the mute button.

I'm just grateful it's not Phil Yates in all honesty.

There was a softly spoken commentator on BBC snooker during covid who was decent and not a former player, he hasn't been on since though which is a shame.

8 of the current top 10 players in the bottom half of the draw.

Sorry man, not sure if that's correct. Carter, Brecel, Allen and Selby are all top 10 and in the top half of the draw.

Bottom half is definitely more stacked though.

He's a bit of a punchline but Dominic dale qualifies at 52 the oldest since davis, fair play to him.

Mark Davis who's also over 50 also nearly made it lost 10-9

On judgement day commentary they completely overkilled the jokes about walk on music suggestions for him.
