Oh yeah I totally agree, as I said he bellend. Just don't think missing an interview isn't the biggest crime. He knows Selby is the one that has his number when he's on top of his game and he hates that. That's why he never mentions him amongst the dangerous players when talking about those that might challenge him. He know full well when all players are top of their game Selby is his biggest danger. Dodging an interview just shows he's rattled and possibly for once shows some self awareness as he didn't want to say anything he regretted.

True! I didn't think of it like that.

Unfortunately Ronnie preaches about his own mental health while being consistently rude and offensive to others. Just look at his comments towards John Astley the other week.

Yeah he mentioned after the win against Zhou that he doesnt talk about other players anymore. Must be because of the backlash of those John Astley comments.

Really, is that all? I'm one of his biggest critics and think he's a total bellend but I thought in this era of enlightenment on mental health we were more understanding of sports stars who don't want a camera and microphone shoved in their face immediately after a match.

Plays the mental health card then refuses a 147 because the prize is ONLY £10,000, poor f'cker.

He could have done a 147 then given the 10 grand to a mental health charity

He does lots for charity, and it was the principal of the lack of rewards for 147.  Not everything has to be linked to one thing.

Commendable effort from Selby to comeback and get that match into a decider.

Fair play to Zhang though for holding his nerve in the decider, crazy how he’s turned into a World Class player this season.

One to watch for the future.

Glad he’s finally earned a tour card, as he’s come close a few times in other tournaments.

Heard of the name but havent seen him play. Would be good for the game if him and Stan Moody rose through the ranks over the next few years to get a bit of a rivalry going.

He’s had a few good wins over the past year or so. One of the best British prospects along with Stan Moody and Liam Pullen. Oliver Sykes could be one to watch too, he’s been winning a lot of British junior events.

Also looks to be a decent influx of talent coming from Europe too, especially Poland & Ukraine 👍🏻

So glad Ding got through, not sure I could watch the final with roberstson walking around the table 10 times before each shot.

Loving the chinese swat team rushing on to escort Ding off.

I guess snooker in China is a little different than here.

A tense drama filled decider at the World Open between Ding & Robertson, Ding had to get escorted out by Police after winning lol

As for Robertson...

Strange. He'd already said on Hendry's YouTube channel that he'd have to qualify, which was a couple of weeks ago now. Said Higgins would need to qualify too.

Robertson needed to win the tournament this week to be seeded for The Crucible.

Higgins is fine, his current seeding is 13th.

From what I remember of the conversation it isn't current ranking but based on the two year list and the results from that period.

But having just looked that up I could be talking rubbish.

This covers it mate.

I’m guessing Ford & Hawkins could leapfrog Higgins depending on the Tour Champs, but they’ve all secured their Crucible spot 👍🏻
