I'm not surprised.  For a lot of us, we'll never get to go to grounds like Stamford Bridge, because despite being a STH for nearly 5 years, I'll never have enough points for league away tickets (if we actually get promoted).  Cup games are the only chance.

May 2022 we played Chelsea and it went to members. It was a Thursday night and not long after the Europe so uptake wasn't strong.

True - but unless you are retired, unemployed, or can take annual leave at short notice, midweek evening games can be difficult.  So it's no surprise to me that of the 20-something thousand fans who attend home games, 6000 of them are keen to go to Stamford Bridge on a Sunday afternoon.
