Who would be the alternative.

Rich Americans, Chinese, Saudis - who have no idea of how to succeed in running a football club?

No.

And this is why we tolerate ineptitude at the club because every time anyone wants change there's a good portion of our fanbase saying this.

Sack Rodgers before he gets us relegated - "What and replace him with who?? There's nobody better that would come to us"

Sack Rudkin / Whelan - "What and get a clueless foreigner with no experience of football"

It's ridiculous. We are a huge top tier appointment for anyone in the top 20 of their profession worldwide. We aren't a sunday side that has to rely on Rudkin to help out because his dad's got an estate car.

I'm guessing we couldn't buy Sensi cos the money just wasn't there.

I get the feeling Rudkin,  Whelan and Co have done Top up like a kipper. He's probably blindly funded everything and put all his faith in them to manage the club

And fell for all Rodger's blarney?  This Top must be a real thick bugger if that's the case.

We could be owned and bank rolled by a joint venture between Elon Musk, Jeffrey Bezos and Mark Zuckerberg. They can’t pour anymore money in to offset the losses under PSR rules.

The rules don’t allow us to compete with the elite, so we are going to be put back into our box and the big six will pay us on the head.

Rightly or wrongly, we’ve decided to chase the dream despite our off-field limitations and it hasn’t worked. Either that or we’ve thought we’ll just blindly ignore them, then challenge them legally as restriction of trade etc’

Care to elaborate on how we're being so thick then?

Mismanagement is incompetence but thi is a deliberate strategy with a clear long term business objective. The only fly in the ointment is the way the big 6 have designed FFP and P and S rules to protect their own interests.

He was talking about potential owners not managers or other employees.

You go and support someone else if you prefer.

You can be grateful and in love with our club and still want to keep the morons that run it accountable. One could argue that if you don’t, you shouldn’t be here yourself.

What kind of "deliberate strategy" is it to make a total balls-up of the finances and recruitment and blame it on everyone else?

They've said repeatedly they wanted this club to be ran sustainably, does this look sustainable to you?

But morons would not have achieved so much success. They are not morons and to call them such is not only disrespectful but downright ridiculous.

It’s not a balls-up as you so eloquently put it. It’s a strategy to achieve success on the field and by anyone’s measure over the last decade it’s been spectacularly successful.

I agree that there's been shocking mismanagement but surely with the rules that are in place, for the top half Premier League clubs all it takes is a disastrous season ending in relegation for them to breach PSR.

For example if West Ham (bad example because they've ground virtually rent free) had an absolute stinker next season and got relegated, surely they'd be on the limits of PSR.

Parachute payments are there to lessen the blow of relegation but when the fall is as dramatic as ours then standard parachute payments aren't enough.

Not taking anything away from the complete clowns at the top of the club.

It’s a completely different strategy to the one that actually achieved success though

We didn’t win the league by spending big and the Rodgers side was largely built by cute scouting

Put down the whiskey, Jon and start managing the club correctly. There’s a good lad

So, despite signing upto/voting for the current rules and talking about sustainability for 10 years, you are saying the actual strategy is to deliberately and consistently breach the rules, take points deductions and financial penalties on the chin and basically keep going until we become a big club whilst eating up losses of £1m per week for shits and giggles?

It's looking real spectacular now.. but actually if you look at the turning point in all of this is when we decided abandon the prospect of selling our best players to reinvest back into the playing squad, but instead to buy expensive players, give existing players high wages and try to retain these players.

The truth is the club abandoned what got us to heights and rolled the dice. They bet red and it landed on black and now we as fans will have to endure the results of their gambling. Quite simply heads must roll, and if Top doesn't take the action required then he will lose a lot of respect.

Sure, it wasn’t always rotten but something is clearly wrong now, hence why I now call it rotten. Not content with the club going down the shitter through recent mismanagement but respect to those if that are alright with it.

😂😂😂😂😂

What a complete fvcking shitshow.

At what point do those of you still living in denial click on to the fact that these cvnts have limited idea of what they’re doing and zero ability to do the job they’re reaming money from the club each month?

Moreover, they despise you. They don’t understand fans, they don’t care what you think, they abhor your opinions.

Oh, hang on, sorry, I forgot that some of you are joining a tiny gang to write a strongly worded letter. Yep, that’ll sort things.
