Had an email back from this artist this morning. I won’t reveal too much at the moment, but needless to say it’s going to be expensive. I also found out the cost of the vichai statue

A static statue wouldn’t feel appropriate. You know the mechanical Hare they have at the Greyhound racing, well an equivalent of that, a kind of Vardy manakin on a track around the pitch, zipping round at his peak speed with perhaps a few mechanically enhanced gestures when it passes the away fans. Wondered why there’s a delay in the stadium expansion? It’s this addition to the plans.

Just by way of update , a Lifesize Jamie Vardy in Bronze on a plinth would be in the region of £150k. If you wanted the technical add ons, lighting and infrastructure this could be between 150-250k depending on the complexity of your requirement.
