Proper club managers willing to adapt to scenarios in the game

Potter? Was more stuck in his ways than Enzo. Still is a complete unknown really. Expect him to go to a championship club before any PL clubs give it a go.

Championship is wild, I’d expect him to show up in Europe before that

Still think Robbie keane ..

Won the league in his 1st season with Maccabi tel Aviv..

24 wins 7 draws and 3 losses..

And plays possesion football favoring 4.3.3.attacking formation

Joke right?

Isn't Maccabi tel Aviv Coalville Town on steroids?

Gutted. Next manager won't be anything like him and knowing our board we'll sack him when he's not managed to get us into the Champions League.

Needs to be someone who will stay for 25/26 in the Championship. Build with someone.

Been told it's Carlos Corberán.

Not a bad choice for where we are at moment.

I don't really get what people see in Corberán. He plays almost the opposite style to our current approach, doesn't he? So no more inverted full backs, and Winks not being used as the pivot, I'd have thought. Progression via the wings, and not through the middle.

For a left field choice I'd take a look at one of the out of work ex-Bundesliga managers like Urs Fischer or Christian Streich, but lets face it, considering the circumstances of the club and the clowns we have in charge, we'll probably be seriously scraping the barrel.

Genuine question for those with actual ball knowledge…. What do people see in Graham Potter and Will Still? I don’t feel any excitement in either of them and not to sure on what is with all the hype? Is there something I’m not seeing?

Potter’s name gets mentioned a lot because he’s possession based. With the board seemingly adamant on wanting a possession based philosophy, then Potter ticks the boxes. We’ve been interested before, it would be no surprise if we show interest again.

As for Will Still, both seasons at Reims he got them knocking on the door of a European spot, but towards the end of both campaigns, they ended up falling short. Personally I think a move to a Championship club would suit him best.

Check out Bo Henriksen! The perfect manager to keep you from relegation! Took over Mainz when they were dead last and only 13 matches to go. In those 13 matches they were the 5th best team in the Bundesliga, even though they played top 5 in those 13 games!

Fight and braveness is what he make the players deliver!

Also a perfect way to not jump onto the manager carousel with the usual suspects in UK 😎

Unknown? He’s been a manager for 16 years and made his way up from the fourth tier in Sweden. As others have said though, no way he comes here.

Potential incoming managers will treat us as bottom of the table by a gap. Also likely to have to rebuild due to a number out of contract players but have to sell first. I can imagine the board getting turned down by a lot of potential managers.

Corberan or Robins is probably the realistic ones likely to take that challenge on.

Potter has always stuck to one philosophy when it’s gone right or wrong no?

I want a tactically flexible, attacking, possession-based team. Players that are brave, that aren't afraid to make mistakes. That can get on the ball and show courage and really try to enjoy their football. If the players are enjoying their football, there's a chance that the supporters will enjoy it as well. That's how you grow and develop as a club. Styles of play don't make you win games. The challenge is having players believe in it and how it works.

–Potter, on the philosophy he sought to establish at Chelsea

I know it's only two games, but I was really unimpressed with West Brom in their semi final games with Southampton. They barely fired a shot. Maybe that's unfairly put me off Corberan.

You’d hope some of these names would be better with better squads…

Bigger club bigger project taken Bournemouth as far as he can.

They are in better shape than us currently so would view that as a big ask tbh.
