Burton with a 93rd minute goal to go 2-1 up

Relegates Cambridge and pretty much guarantees Burton stay up due to goal difference

Brilliant job by Gary Bowyer since he joined them

Indeed. And even better condemns Bristol Rovers to a well deserved return to Div 2.

I don’t get the Wrexham love-in at all.

They have brought 3 successive promotions.

Anything other than promotion in each season would’ve been a huge failure.

Huddlesfield and Reading pay more wages.  No way they would've expected 3 promotions, no club has ever achieved that.

Huddersfield might but there is absolutely no way Reading are paying more out than Wrexham, not by a long way..

Apparantly they are.  I don't know where I originally read this, but this has a breakdown, if you believe these things that is.  But it does have both those teams above wrexham.

Hmm I'm not buying that, article done before the close of the window too.. This suggests otherwise https://www.capology.com/uk/league-one/payrolls/ and has breakdowns for all clubs.

I just don't think there's a chance they're dishing out the third highest wage bill in that league.. Not to dismiss or talk down the achievements of Wrexham, either!

Seems a more legit source, maybe i saw it before the close, things have changed for both clubs financially with extra investment for Wrexham and Reading struggling badly.

Bradford got away with it today with Walsall managing to lose at home to Accrington. A win at home to mid-table Fleetwood will be enough for promotion now.

Next weekend will certainly be interesting.

We have a slim chance at that last auto and at least now we're guaranteed playoffs.

It was only in 2018/19 season that cardiff we're in the premier League and Wrexham were in the National league.

Now Wrexham are in a higher division.

I know a school teacher who lives near cardiff, been living there 12 years. Said youd never or see here off anything of Wrexham especially with being South Wales. But he says in the last couple of years hes seen more Wrexham in Cardiff... than Cardiff City fans. How far is Wrexham from Cardiff?
