exploiting foreign fans is something every country does, at least MLS prices are good.

How did the USA get that penalty over turned?

Highlights I've just watched were shit quality but looked like their man absolutely ****ing cleaned out the Panama forward.

I think in 2 parts, he's booted the ball away for a goal kick and looks like he's going down before the contact. One of the replays looked more conclusive than others, he's falling into the defender. From the back it looks like the defender catches him with his right foot, from another angle it doesn't look like he touches him.  Odd one.  Don't think any replay looks conclusive so probably should stick to the original decision, Ref must've thought he fell into him.

In addition, McKennie seems to have put on some pudding.

Surprised to see Osorio getting the start over Kone. Also, Shaffelburg over Tajon.

Hope it works.

Need a quick goal as we all know Chile will  channel their inner neymar later in the game.

Of course, would have loved to get the win, but making it through our group in our first Copa is pretty cool.

100%. Doesn't matter how we got there, we got there. Get results is all that matters.

Would love to win this but that's next level impossible. Can always dream!

No David Martinez or Yerson Chacon though. Andrade and Aramburu the ones to watch I'd say, don't think the squad is that young overall to be honest though.

Yeah you’re right with the age thing. I think I just associate them with youth given how well they have historically done at fifa youth comps.

Prediction is looking good so far though.

Ref lost the plot in this one and the Uruguay goal looked decently offside, but US has no one to blame but themselves in this tournament. Gregg’s rein of letdowns continue.

The goal was unusual, watching it I thought it was clearly offside. Couldn’t believe it was given.

The US finishing is what’s cost them though, awful in front of goal.

Just watched the highlights, two things stick out.

1. Swathes of empty seats in the top tier

2. How on earth was the Uruguay goal not offside? Bloke heads it from the cross and Olivera a good half a yard offside taps in rebound. Stevie Wonder in the VAR booth?
