Feyenoord apparently going for a big name in Robin Van Persie after sacking Brian Priske.

Can't go wrong with a Dutch striker as your manager.

Crazy game between Atleti and Barca in the Copa Del Rey

Atletico went 2 up early on.

Barca got it to 4-2

Then Atleti scored 2 late on to make it 4-4.

Simeone is possibly the best manager right now in the world of football. These late comebacks have nothing to do with luck. It's ridiculous. This team can be 4-0 down until the 85min and win it 4-5.

That's why he's the highest paid in the world

Roma have taken 20 of a possible 24 points in 2025 and are now pushing for Europe after flirting with the drop before Claudio came in. Unbeaten in 10 matches, incredible run of form.

He says he's retiring for an upper management job with Roma after this season, which is understandable since he's 73. Wonder if he's tempted to go back on that decision.

He’s gonna win the europa league and retire. It’s written in the stars. If they can get past Bilbao, it’s a simple run to the final.

Bologna having a lovely season after recovering from flogging all of their talent. Although Ndoye will go I suspect in the summer. Last nights game v Milan was the perfect demonstration of two clubs - one who are clever with transfers and have a sprinkle of Italian talent v no Italians and journeymen.

Also keep an eye on Como, they have bubbled away nicely this season and think they will go up another level next year

Mika Biereth

signed by Monaco from sturm Graz in January. He scored 11 in 16 for Sturm (continuing a trend of Danish strikers doing well) for them and he’s now on 7 goals in 6 for Monaco.

He’s born in England and yet to be fully capped……while also described as the new Vardy !

Pandering to them, more like.

Are they here to see your team or a player that doesn't play for you?

I think they've messed up with the Messi mania. It brings some short term publicity but if you focus so much on one player then obviously there's going to be a huge hole when that player retires

AC Milan manager Sergio Conceicao says his players are "feeling the tension" after a section of fans protested during Sunday's 2-1 Serie A home defeat by Lazio.

The Curva Sud stand was empty for the first 15 minutes of the game and, when the fans did arrive, they called the players "shameful" and demanded American owners RedBird sell the club.

It was the Rossoneri's third straight league defeat dropping them to ninth in the table, 17 points behind leaders and city rivals Inter Milan.

They were also knocked out of the Champions League play-offs by Feyenoord last month.

"We discussed the atmosphere and this is the first time I've experienced this in my career. Mistakes weigh heavier under such conditions," Conceicao told DAZN.

"I was a player, I know when it's like that, your boots feel like they're burning. When a dribble or a pass doesn't work or you're behind, it burns even more."

Mattia Zaccagni put Lazio ahead in the first half but Samuel Chukwueze's scored a later equaliser for the hosts after a Strahinja Pavlovic red card.

However, former Chelsea forward Pedro netted the winner for the visitors from the penalty spot in the eighth minute of stoppage time.

"It is not an easy moment," added Conceicao. "The players feel the tension around the club.

"The only way forward is to work hard, take pride in our colours and strive to change the situation."

It won't make much difference, stars have come and gone and the popularity of the MLS continues to grow.

Yeah probably you're right, it is more wishful thinking to be honest.
