Standard PR crisis management, every statement says "We have been reassured by BC Game"... every statement puts all the fault on their side and when ultimately they cease to exist, we will have a trail of "well they said everything was fine, they lied"

It seems unthinkable that BC.GAME will be on our shirts next season. The only positive is, in that scenario, there is almost no chance that it'll be another moody betting sponsor due to the upcoming ban on gambling advertising for the 26-27 season. Absolute shambles.

Disagree - if it’s the final year of betting sponsorships, the gambling companies could be offering a shed load of coin as one last hurrah. A race to see who can have their logo stand out the most one last time.

Could be worse, we could be like Bournemouth who not only endorse gambling, but seemingly multiple sex acts.

i mean, you been to Bournemouth? Not much else to do there.

I can't believe they're doubling down on it as opposed to cutting ties. Was such an open goal for the club and they've missed. Again.

It's ridiculous. Surely they're sizing up other sponsors behind the scenes. FBS binned us off quickly enough for being relegated, so you'd have to think we can bin off a sponsor just as quickly for being a ****ing scam.

that's not how the law works, no case has been proven and the company isn't in receivership/liquidation/administration, simply put the only way to break from them would be to pay them a lot of money

Surely there is no BC game. It's KP acting as a launderette. It's all nefarious stuff. Dodgy Thai business dealing with a shell in curacao whose real owners are likely to be found  via Panama, Grand Cayman and either far east or Russia.

It was already illegal for us to have them on the front of our shirt, as the B is using a crypto sign and they don't have a UK crypto licence... we just hadn't been found out yet.

Sounds like it's now illegal full stop. Good.

Taken over my evenings investigating this shower this year, there's a lot more to come out, especially from Josimar who are very close to finding out the ultimate owners of all these shams in the far east.

Joking aside I wouldn't be surprised if everyone is in a blank shirt Sunday. Not sure how the clubs above could get around it as none of these brands have UK websites anymore.

“This case involves a gambling company that was unwilling or unable to meet the regulatory standards we expect from our licensees. It is right that they have now exited the British market.

“Following TGP’s exit, several online gambling operators can no longer lawfully offer gambling facilities to consumers located in Great Britain. These sites, previously operating under TGP’s licence, may not provide adequate protection against criminal activity or gambling-related harm and should not be available to GB consumers with immediate effect.”

Pierce continued: “We have already been in contact with several football clubs today to highlight the impact of the withdrawal from the market by TGP and make clear that we will be carrying out checks-without further notice-to ensure these sites remain blocked. “

He stated: “It is essential that football clubs play their part in protecting fans and GB consumers who may be exposed to advertising of these sites through their sponsorship arrangements from harm or exploitation. All licensed operators with similar arrangements to TGP should take notice of the action taken in this case.

“We would like to warn consumers that sites operated by TGP are now unlicensed and may not provide protections against criminality or gambling related harm.”

Surely we would argue that we aren’t advertising bc game to the uk public but to a global audience ??  They can argue that we shouldn’t be showing names of betting companies that aren’t licensed in the uk but is it actually illegal to do so ?

Well as I mentioned above, we're already breaking the law (if anyone pointed it out) as the BC Game logo has a crypto token in it.

I think it's likely a grey area in the legality of leaving it on the shirt.

Either way just another classic to add to this seasons copy book.

This is tip of the iceberg anyway, house of cards level shit if Josimar uncover the details of the ringleaders in the far east.

Didn't our club double (or even triple) down on backing them??

Should have ripped up the contract with them the moment they were under investigation for all their dodginess.
