we’re back to the bottom of the food chain for the level of targets we are going for.  It’s going to be a tricky window.  

 

Im always concerned as our back up options typically are rather uninspiring.

Fair point, but if we are at the bottom of the food chain, then unfortunately options are likely to be uninspiring.

More optimistic that we are interested in players that bigger clubs are after.

 

You won’t get them all but just need a couple of them. For every 1 player who you hear about we are probably looking another 10.

I think there will be a point where we realize we have to act like a newly promoted side and not assume we can waltz back in like we never left. 

 

There are deals we could do but we are likely holding out for the perfect signings… rightly or wrongly will be determined by how successful we are at landing them

Their defensive stats were both excellent last season.
