Port Vale have Mitch Clark RB fit again, who would be first choice.

Likely he was sent back.

Mitch Clark was one of Petty's Villa boys....spent a couple of years in our u23's before we released him.

That's the one, he's had a couple of spells at Vale, on loan from us and then joined them permanently.

Sustained a serious neck injury at the start of the season, somehow fractured his neck and need surgery.

He well thought of at Vale.

Silko Thomas is getting decent minutes at Wigan, not much end product, it will be interesting to see what we do with him in the summer.

My step dad is a season ticket holder at Wigan. Says he's OK but league 1 is his level, doesn't look good enough for premier league level.

After the game, the Latics boss provided the latest news on his condition.

"He's not great, we think it's a bad one," said Maloney. "It's a knee injury, we'll probably find out the full extent on Monday, but it doesn't look good.

"I don't think it's ligaments, maybe another part of the knee...but it looks a bad one."

Choudhury apparently a fan favourite already. He might be playing PL football next season whilst we're in the championship...

We could have used him today 😆

Strange time to do that unless there’s a move lined up elsewhere?

He could sign for a national league club anytime

It's been confirmed that Silko Thomas is back with Leicester & out for the season with expected recovery time of up to 5 mths, so assume ACL also.
Real shame for the lad as he'd racked up 31 appearances playing a good chunk in each game this season for Wigan.
