This is Soule and Roma all over again.

Would normally agree but this has come from Ornstein as opposed to Soule who was only really linked with us initially from reports in Italy. Percy only ever gave us just above a 50/50 chance.

More likely palace being used to get his name out - him and parish fell out so I think its unlikely.

As soon as I saw the Palace link, that was my thought, too. Hopefully not

Did not see this coming, could be a great move, hope he’s still at the level he was a few years ago and hasn’t dropped off by playing in an inferior league.

Refusing to get my hopes up on this until confirmed.

he’s not a long term solution but for a years scrap to ensure survival he might just be what we need.

No chance we get him - back to palace as olise replacement- he is a London boy through and through - we are simply being used to get them the money they want from palace

complete waste of excitement

Sarr is also a Olise replacement, who they have just signed.

Looks like Cooper is getting his wish of signing players with Prem experience.

like others have said, this season is just about staying up against the odds and then building a foundation if we can achieve that

Plenty of experience in the Prem, can play in a number of positions, no doubt he can be a game changer for us.

Hope he still has the fire in the belly.

He’s a shithouse who always knows how to win a foul.  Also someone who hasn’t been infested with passing around the back for the sake of it. We need someone to progress the ball quickly. Zaha, Mavadidi and Fatawu should make something happen and be exciting to watch. We just need that person in the middle who isn’t afraid to pass forward.

A risk worth taking imho. He might look a bit sulky on pitch, but he seems a good professional does he not?

IF we do pull this off, I think the fans will end up loving him.

Mavididi - Buonottte - Fatawu

Not really. Bounotte will play as a ten, and Zaha will be the experience we lean on in any of those positions, perhaps even in the 9, which he is well capable of playing IMO.

Furthermore he’s a bastard…… and that’s what you want, we need a bastard in the team.

Leicester fans cheering him after years of him him being one of the biggest pantomime villains to visit Filbert Way, would be hilarious.

Up there with Speedie 😆

Good player though once we don't boo him for going down too easy👍

Brilliant. I was thinking about Speedie and Claridge who were both in their early 30s and came in and did a great job.

He should have no problem playing up top, good record for Palace.
