I think this goes without saying. They saw him as a cheap bridge to the next step in the same way Puel was. My concern is that he’s (somehow) a lot worse than Puel. At least Puel had some sort of identity and was decent at developing players.

Villa weren't a newly promoted side in October 22 though.

I love Nige. He's still my favourite Leicester manager ever, but football has moved on and so should we. He built good teams here and put us on a great track, but his in game management wasn't always the best and that's probably Cooper's biggest problem.

I’ve thought about it and decided that Cooper makes Puel look like Pep.

And had an eye on a player. It was dull football, but we were stable. Much more so than now. Cooper doesn't have anything you described

Leeds got Bielsa in the championship. 
Wolves got Nuno in the championship. 
Newcastle got Benitez in a pl relegation battle. 
Get rid asap and show some ambition.

Puel did sone good things for us as a manager but ultimately underachirved with the squad that he had. 

 

In terms of points, I don't think Cooper is massively underachieving. It's just the performances are completely unsustainable and he is fighting a losing battle in terms of having any good will with the supporters.

So the expectations of an established Premier League team are different to those of a newly promoted one.

Sack him bring Moyes in until the end of the season he'll keep us up and then go for a higher calibre appointment next summer.

I'd happily give Moyes longer than just this season. He didn't just keep West Ham up. He got them up the table, qualifying for Europe and won a Europeon trophy.

Yes it’s obviously survival for a newly promoted side but the longer Cooper stays the less likely it will be. 
We are more likely to stop up with someone else in charge. 
I could be wrong but seem to remember Southampton as a newly promoted side getting rid of Atkins and bringing Pochetino in. 
I just think there are plenty of better options than this prat we have now.

I just don’t feel anything when my team plays I don’t care. That’s what this team under cooper has done to me. We are so crap 💩 and stale that I don’t know how the rest of you are behind this. 😂

I refuse to believe it's financial issues when we signed a bunch of players this summer, some of whom aren't that great. 


He was hardly our first choice, Rudkin’s fall guy option after Potter fell through, completely baffling to me that the board felt he was the best option available. I would rather have Frank Lampard in charge.
