If the club are paying for stories at least ask them to be a few days apart so it's not so obvious How many seasons and leagues does this span?

sylofox Posted 22 November 2024 Posted 22 November 2024 Does anyone else wake up then look in here in the hope they are going to get that feeling they had when 6yrs old on Xmas morning? Then the reality kicks in and you realise it's still Nightmare on Elm Street and Freddie Kruger is still here. 1 2
moore_94 Posted 22 November 2024 Posted 22 November 2024 King Power have just wasted the international break and then finally decided to sack Garcia at Leuven Obviously going to end up giving Cooper way more time than he should get and then be sacked the day before we play a match or something 3

Evidence continues to pile on of how completely disasterous they’ve become. They believe their own hubris and ego in their little bubble. Edited 22 November 2024 by Cropwellfox
Foxmeister Posted 22 November 2024 Posted 22 November 2024 There isn't half some ridiculous hyperbole in here. One day, probably in the not too distant future, it will be a whole lot worse than it is now. 1

Now front runners in the village idiot competition. Unless somethings happened other than the football and that's why they've sacked him this makes no sense at all. 1
Happy Fox Posted 22 November 2024 Posted 22 November 2024 Oscar Garcia has a marginal better win percentage than Cooper bring him in!
Wymsey Posted 22 November 2024 Posted 22 November 2024 (edited) He won't be going anywhere, as he's meeting the main no-relegation objective at present. Edited 22 November 2024 by Wymsey

It won't stop it happening, football is cyclical, we have the 21st biggest fan base in the country and we've been at or above that level for 12 years. We won't know until it happens but I think a change of ownership could be catastrophic. It's really not as bad as so many on here think. 1

"well our fan base isn't big enough to not sack a manager before he makes staying up unsalvageable" makes absolutely no sense. 6

The Doctor Posted 22 November 2024 Posted 22 November 2024 8 minutes ago, Foxmeister said: Probably not but I didn't post that 😂 you absolutely did. fans want Cooper sacked because he's taking us down and there is enough dross in this league to avoid it with a competent manager, you started talking about how we're above our level and it's fine to just take that relegation and accept things will get worse because that's just returning to our level. 3

Palpably incorrect, you used quotation marks when you weren't quoting, it was merely your spin on what I said with so many negatives I got bored of trying to decipher it.

So because we have the 21st biggest fan base we should be happy in the championship then. I'd rather have ambition above our standing than accept what we are. We've proven everyone else wrong before and I'd rather strive to do it again. You sit with ya prawn sandwich happy clapping. I'd rather fight to improve. I guess on the fan base standing then Brentford and Bournemouth should be thrown out of the prem then. 3
FoxesFourLife Posted 23 November 2024 Posted 23 November 2024 I hate seeing us lose a match but could Maresca give us one last present it is close to Christmas.

Saying stuff about levels etc is the biggest load of crap out, if that's the case then surely Brighton, Brentford Bournemouth should be heading straight to the likes of league 1 then... But because it's Leicester we should know our place, fans wanting Cooper out aren't expecting top 6 nor top 10, we just want a team who can perform and he's obvious from performances tactics etc Cooper isn't the man upto the job 3

As somebody who has never lived anywhere near Leicester but supported City for nearly 30 years, the amount of Leicester fans I've met over the years (not at anything to do with Leicester) is genuinely more than any club outside of the 'big 6' excluding Man City, and maybe West Ham. Granted I'm obviously going to be more aware of it than if somebody supports another club, but I'd love to know where you're getting these stats from. But another post that just wants to ignore all relevant context and talk about our historic position. Given where we were 5 years ago, our current situation should not have been in the equation for another 10 years at least, if not managed catastrophically by the ownership.
