I really can't understand where fans are getting this idea from that playing a weakened side for 75 mins is somehow a better strategy than purposely not playing your best players then bringing them on late?

We had a poor game all around, tonight was a write off, that doesn't make Cooper right over constantly playing Ayew over Fatawu, or playing Justin over Ricardo.

The weasel who oversees every ****tarded decision the suits make couldn't even turn up tonight to bask in the embarrassment we're all being put through.

Every manager in the world and these useless ***** hire the one that the forest fans can really use to take the piss.

Club is a joke.

It’s like the people who want Will Alves to be starting. Utter madness.

I would absolutely 100% prefer to see Alves coming on over Soumare. One is a home grown talent and the other refused to play for us in the Championship.

But it's stuff you get taught in Sunday League.

I honestly don't think you can organise or train that level of individual stupid.

Of course you can. It’s all down stream of the set up and approach.

If he was competent PL coach we wouldn’t be under the same pressure to concede stupid mistakes.

11 shots, 1 on target tonight - defensive mistakes are immaterial if you can’t coach a team to create chances.

Shouldn’t be at that point though.

Skipp should’ve come on and Alves should be at Barnsley, Charlton or Portsmouth on loan.

What? Ricardo was one of the last people most fans would blame for our demise in the premier league. He was by far one of our most consistent performers, and last season he was one of the best in the league by some distance.
It's not a weird obsession with his omission, Justin has been getting absolutely traumatised week in week out. When your right back is getting picked apart every week, and you have a far better player rotting on the bench, it's only natural for people to want to see him play.

Utter rubbish. In the PL? He started 20 odd games in 2-3 seasons and we lost nearly all of them.

The point remains. The fact Cooper is playing Soumare is cause enough for reservation.

On the evidence of tonight, it doesn't make him wrong either.

And he was one of the players least to blame for those losses.

In what world is he thinking Bouba Soumare is going to come on and change a game? If you asked Soumare if he wanted to come on and if he was up for it, he'd probably just nod off back to sleep.

1 game is hardly enough evidence, tonight was an off game, but we didn't play badly because he started Ricarco and Fatawu, we have played poorly in the majority of the games they started on the bench too. Imagine Ranieri benched Vardy and Mahrez every week so he could bring them on with 10 to play.

I've never mentioned the overall coaching though, i am talking about the defensive errors. Individual errors like that aren't down to coaching or being under pressure. It's school boy stuff.

He was still better than Wilf.

It’s very weird this obsession, he’s not been dominant for Oxford yet

Oxford fans are consistently singing his praises and claiming he's been their best player.

Just saying.  Not weighing in on him being our saviour or anything.

But why are the players so consistently in the position to make errors? If we were 10, 20, 30% more positive might we avoid possibility entirely? Good chance we would.

Mistakes don’t happen entirely in isolation

Just interested Webbo as you are normally quite a balanced and decent poster

do you think we should persevere with Cooper?

what do you think his qualities are?

could we do better with another manager?

I'm prepared to give him chance. I always knew this season was going to be a struggle.

It's only the people who predicted we'd be relegated by November that seem shocked when we don't win every week

Simply - the guy brought on Soumaré, forget being sacked by us, he should never manage another team again. Soumaré! Fuching Soumaré! The player who's never had a good game for us, doesn't want to play for us and his step count playing for us in total is less than my daily goal!
