For balance, let's not pretend he's Alan Sugar :)

And, in turn, let's not pretend Alan Sugar's a Gerald Ratner.

I wonder what the thinking is behind putting Top on the front cover of the matchday programme. I found it bit weird.

I don't know if they did, but usually, the first programme of the season is his thoughts for the season ahead and things that have gone before. It's one of the few times they say much normally.

Who is pretending he's anything, but as with any head of business who is actively involved, the questions and decisions are generally never-ending.

The “I don’t know if they did” was aimed at whether the programme contained his usual first game of the season letter to fans.

Not sure where to put this but I liked the fact we now have some history around the ground on the outside, instead of more King Power plastered over it.

That’s good although I know they’ve prob been there a while but wtf is with the flags all around the top of the ground. They are all Thai stuff and not the previous lcfc ones. How long has that been a thing? We are Leicester not Thaister can we please recognise that.

Not blaming you @Fox92 just replying.

Maybe no-one has noticed, or remembered, but he's on the first programme of the season every season since he became Chairman.

Yea it's weird as ****

A man who otherwise wants to exist in the shadows.

Be great if he ever fancied actually communicating with the fans, sorry customers.

Are the club going to hold a memorial service annually for the rest of eternity?

I mean, after 6 years it’s a bit weird to be doing it every year. Almost a bit cult-y like he was some kind of deity.

I’m sure everyone who knew him, personally or professionally, has the ability to remember him and pay their respects however they wish to. The whole ‘Forever In Our Hearts’ orchestrated stuff I find a little bit exaggerated now.

In fairness, this is not just an LCFC issue these days. Feels like football's just become a vast vehicle for confected grief.

I feel the same as you.

However I appreciate people and cultures grieve in different ways. Vichai was influential not just to Leicester, however the surrounding community, people in Thailand, horse racing, the business world etc. the list is endless.

It is sadly, a massive landmark in our history that whilst King Power own us, they will treat the club as a memorial to Vichai.

I can’t believe it’s been 6 years.

I find this post quite worrying.  Pray tell, what is wrong with remembering our great late chairman on the  anniversary of his death?  Plus, the other poor souls,

who perished in that awful helicopter crash.

It's no different to remembering the fallen who have given their lives for this country throughout major conflicts in war and civil unrest every November.

Service itself is extremely well done and a time of reflection.

I find it sad, a poster, who clearly supports the club tries to demean it, seriously?

I have no issue with the services for the chairman but it really isn't anything like the same as a national remembrance for those lost in conflict.
