Funniest thing about Khan is that he still thinks, years later, the world wants to hear his thoughts on Donald Trump.

I don’t think it’s exactly that, more that there are a lot of people in London who do want to hear someone in a position of power bashing Trump. And Khan can do that because he doesn’t have to get on with Trump directly and nor does he represent the provinces.

I absolutely want to see prominent British politicians voicing negative things against Trump tbf. I absolutely want to see that our leaders arwnt above criticising the leaders of US, France, Germany or other western allies when they act or steer the world in a direction that is against western values.

Absolutely nothing wrong with constructive criticism and voicing concerns to a supposed ally.countries and allies should be able to do that and offer insight but the trouble with Trump he surrounds himself with yes men and people who are too afraid to question him a la a dictator. He uses threats and intimidation instead of negotiations to get what he wants.

The big patriot leaders at Reform seem to have forgotten loyalty to Britain and now live in Dubai.

Anti-immigrant, anti-Muslim 'journalist' and purveyor of misinformation flees the country explicitly to avoid paying tax, to a country that practices Sharia.

What an utter humiliation.

It must be too late, but that Trump rally must surely have been a hallucination?

Toss up between that bizarre military video and him dancing on stage with Village People.

...remember when he said that he could shoot someone on Fifth Avenue and his supporters would let him get by with it?

That's not far away from what's happened.

You're right, satire is dead. The Onion may as well just print real headlines about it for the next however long.

Maybe she's fled the UK for a better standard of life. Maybe she isn't anti Muslim at all. Maybe she isn't anti immigration,.seeing as she practices it (emigration) herself.

Maybe she just isn't keen on low skilled immigration pouring into the UK via student visas and dubious asylum claims and working as deliveroo cyclists by, literally, the million

Well, he looks quite tall and thin. So, he could make a good draught excluder, if you have a very wide door.

That was amazing.

The village people pumping it with the Don shuffling about in the background, crowd going wild.

Also Lee Greenwood with 'proud to be an American' entry music live. the place was rocking.

Anyway today is day 1 - so I expect all wars to be over, a 70,000ft wall on the Mexican border completed, the US to be drug-free, all illegal immigrants deported, the LA wildfire to be put out, and crime down to zero in NYC by COB as previously promised and agreed. We'll catch up COB -1 hour to assess progress on this thanks Don.

Edit - the military video was used extensively on the campaign trail, at every rally, Alongside the cartel gang video. People loved it, Americans eh

Yeh but you’re forgetting that when it isn’t all fixed tomorrow it’s the civil service and “leftist lawyers” faults and the Don needs more powers to be able to dictate society and those checks and balances and separation of powers aren’t really needed anyway, right?

Yeah I never understand why it's seen as a Gotcha when someone who is pro immigration reform in the UK moves abroad themselves. Especially to the Gulf States who generally treat low skilled immigrants as less than human.

Weird kind of English parochialism.

Yep, we haven't got rid of slavery. Much like these people, even slaves received payment (if not necessarily monetary).

That's not to mention the tat people buy made in sweatshops in Southeast Asia.

What kind of country has a big war to throw off it's monarchial head of state, then gives it's new head of state all the powers of a monarch? In truth, the monarch of any European country has less power than the Potus, probably for at least 100 years or so.

That one person can just ride roughshod over the judiciary system in a supposedly developed country is both bizarre and sickening.

Probably beyond that in Britain anyway. The POTUS has far more power than George III although I suppose their argument will be that nobody elected George III.

God elected George, something most of the US could get behind.
