Looks like Wolves have an appointment lined up already - suggests they have had this in mind for a bit .

We have gone back to Mendes to help us find a manager, and the deal for Vitor Pereira is already done. Who has apparently paid his own club compensation at Al-Shahab in the Saudi League in order to take the job. He's desperate to have a crack at the PL apparently. Just sorting the contracts out now which should be a formality.

Can apparently be quite hot-headed in the Mourinho vibe, but in his case he doesn't care if he talks about it or gets into trouble. Even with his bosses or players.

It's a big gamble but that's the position we have found ourselves in now. I've no idea whether he's any good, but Fenerbace fans don't like him much from his time there. He has had a lot of clubs and did well at places and won a few trophies but that was a while ago now.

Although I'd be worried by this appointment (this'd be his tenth club in as many years), he does seem to always have a good win rate. Looks inevitable it'd be a short term thing though.

I'm surprised Kane isn't on there. I'd have him every time I think.

He happened to miss the most important one of his career so far. Granted it wasn't in the PL.  🤣

And in other news, the sun rose in the east this morning.

Not sure what's worse -- having an agent in the ear of your owner dishing out long term contracts, or having an over-promoted youth coach in the ear of your owner dishing out long term contracts.

Neither is working out at all well.

We'd largely moved away from Mendes in the last couple of seasons, when we appointed Matt Hobbs as our Sporting Director. He went shopping in South America and came back with a few gems. His British signing have been mostly poor though.

This will be the first appointment helped by Mendes since Bruno Lage :o

Vitor Pereira will take Wolves down.

I think we're already going down with or without his help tbh. We have too much to do as we left it so late to sack O'Neil.

It's not 'the lowest of the low' though is it lol

10-game ban for simulation is OTT.

He's a pr'ck and he probably knows it too. He was clearly riled up through the game.

I think Cunha will be in big trouble too... losing him for 5 games perhaps would be a nightmare.

He needs to be charged quickly or he’ll play on Saturday

You'd imagine even if it happened this week they'd stick an appeal in to get him through one game

I think its way too early to think that. There will be at least 4 teams down there all season who just dont have the quality to pull away. You're what, six points away from us ? That can get eaten up very quickly.

I also think one team we dont currently class as "at risk" will get dragged into it.

Leaving it too late is what our idiot owner and DOF did. You've got the Christmas period and January to sort.

The hand in the face / glasses grab looks worse at full speed as well.  Thats gona be a 6 match plus ban so hope it sticks straght away.

Proper weird behaviour. Then he puts his arms up as if to say 'why did you force your head into my elbow' lol

Not sure on what grounds they could appeal that other than the length of the ban. It would be very damaging to the integrity of Wolves to go down that route and set a poor example.

Sounds good in theory but we're already 6 points adrift of safety (with GD), and our next 9 games are:

Leicester (A)
Man Utd (H)
Spurs (A)
Forest (H)
Newcastle (A)
Chelsea (A)
Arsenal (H)
Villa (H)
Liverpool (A)

The new manager is going to have to have an instant impact and some luck to pick up points in those games, never mind wins. And you don't turn around a defensively organisational mess and set-piece calamity in just a week or two.

Since the famous "I will learn from Russell Martin" Pep quote.

Man City have lost 8 of their 11 games

Russell Martin has been sacked on the back of two 5 goals defeats and letting Wolves win a game...

Funny old world lol

Suarez got months for his bite in a competitive game. Cunha elbows a, let's be real, older bloke in the head and takes his glasses. That's assault.

I hadn't seen the footage properly but I'd genuinely be tempted with lifetime ban. If you did that at work, you'd be sacked.
