I think we of all clubs know how brutal the UCL run-in is.

 

Last week, Forest were nailed on for top five with a seemingly easy game at home against Everton.

 

Now they've lost successive games with Man City and Aston Villa within one win of them and Newcastle only four points behind them and two games in hand while in blistering form.

Yep. They're not really UCL quality, just very efficient, well-drilled and organised. Besides the CB pairing or Aina at a push, I don't think a single Forest player would be first choice in the Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester City, Chelsea, Newcastle or Villa sides.

I don't want them in UECL as there might be a chance of them winning it. I want them in UEL, struggling to balance it with PL for a fraction of the money, before getting dumped out in the quarters by Bodo/Glimt.

Given that they are certs to get some sort of European football, I would want them in the EL. It's too tough for them to win but nowhere near as glamorous as the CL. If they go into the Conference League they could win it.
