Getting their CB pairing was a coup, the type of astute signings we were making about 5 or 6 years ago. They'll either stay at help them on the pitch or get sold for Fofana / Maguire type money which means they can reinvest.

Consistency is going to be huge factor for the teams chasing 4th and 5th and most of them fail badly at simply being consistent. Difference in quality between Villa, Spurs, Chelsea, Man Utd and Newcastle isn't massive.  I feel Chelsea are marginally the most consistent of the lot.

It’s the control Maresca puts into football matches. Some people hate it, but it gives consistency.

I agree, I don’t think he is that good to be honest… and that isn’t because I think he is a total c**t he just isn’t a good keeper. Kasper for us and Mads now are proper goalies

Can definitely see him gone before the season is over especially his big statement of I always win things in my second season, think they'll lose to Man United in the League Cup and they won't win the FA Cup either. Would usually agree but given how Marianakis has made his money (people trafficking, heroin trafficking, helping Putin to evade sanctions), they can get in the bin.
