Forest are only doing well because the league is 90% toss. That Forest team wouldn’t have laid a glove on us under Rodgers at the start of his tenure…… they’re profiting from the abhorrent standard that is in the league this year.

Being organised and well drilled when you’re surrounded by average to below average teams, makes a difference.

Ive not watched a single team this season and thought afterwards “bloody hell they were good”…. It’s been a poor a league as it’s been for years, and it’s been on the cards now for a few seasons, I think this is resonating through European football in general, we just seem to be in an era of not very exciting football, producing some fairly ordinary players.

Its a very strong league, the money is allowing smaller teams to catch up the the tradionally bigger teams.

The league is incredibly competitive now. Especially now almost half the league qualifies for Europe we will keep seeing those European positions change places as the smaller clubs deal with juggling Europe and league duties.

Brentford, Forest, Fulham and Bournemouth are in the same bracket, clubs that have long been established in the championship who are now doing very well in the premier league using different methods and now all have an outside chance at making europe. Fair play to them but we also know how things can change very quickly.

The 3 seasons where we were chasing europe, we had to contend with a liverpool side who got 99 points, a city side who won 3 in a row, a chelsea team who would later become european champions, a tottenham team who recently reached the champions league final, and an arsenal side who in a year and a bit would be in a  title race. Newcastle and villa and brighton havent had to compete with these teams in their prime, and now the league is absolutely shit if forest get 4th, even though their team is way worse than even our 21/22 team, would somehow get top 4

It's more likely they will be one of those teams that has a good start then falls off in the second half of the season, which is usually the case.. best they can hope for is 6th

I remember when everyone was saying that in 2015/16.

So far left field he's not even on the betting lists. Must be good then.........!

With 9 native Portuguese speaking players in the squad I guess it makes sense to go in that direction.

Can we all stop pretending that this is a fierce rivalry. Though turdgate was funny.

A truly beige rivalry.

Lacroix what an absolute moron. Doesn't have to do that at all.

Most senseless foul ever lol

And then stood there looking at the ref like he hadn’t done anything 😂

Think he previously got more space because sides tried to mark Olise or Zaha before that.

There was no way Palace were going to be in the relegation picture. With players like Eze, Sarr, Guehi and Wharton to come back in they have much more about them the rest down the bottom.
