Part of me is thinking a Kettering vs Market Harborough tie would be quality, if only to know that one or the other could realistically face us in round 3.

Then again, I want them both through to double the chances of such a juicy tie!!

Massive congrats to both teams today, what it's all about!

I'm guessing @Daggers might be having a few sherbets tonight

Daggers is hoarse and hungover because this tinpot league only sells piss water and doesn't let you drink pitch side - so my 8 prematch pints have seriously worn off. I have a short coach journey to convince the wife we should pop back into the clubhouse.

What a ****ing match. No idea what it was like for neutrals. Don't care. That was massive.

Any video of the ends for either Kettering or Market Harborough today? Would love to see the scenes, especially full time at Sixfields. lol

BBC coverage as crap as ever, televised game and they've uploaded bugger all, I had to go to Reddit to find the equaliser.

Superb win, very pleased, for you - I was talking to Cobblers fans yesterday and thought that if I wasn’t at Brackley today I’d quite liked to have gone.

I’ve been living ten mins from Northampton since.2006 and since 2020 a couple of us made the choice to go ten mins west for our local football instead of back to our first clubs (LCFC + Spurs).

I was at the Brackley-Braintree game today but missed our ET and penalties as had to leave at 5pm to take my son to Buckingham, another big crowd with over 1100 and Brackley into R2 too

Braintree fans were superb, prob 200-250 of them.  Noisy, singing irons songs.  Good natured too and mixed in with no segregation.

Roll on an easy (ish) set of ties for Brackley + Kettering as the target has to be taking Leicester on in R3!

We'd all like a soft tie and then draw a mammoth club in the 3rd. I'd like anyone but Harbs as they seem possessed at the moment.

Anyone know what's the furthest a Leicestershire club has got to in the FA cup. Other than Leicester City of course .

Think one of the Hinckey teams reached the 3rd or maybe 4th round. Might be my memory playing tricks on me

Hinckley Athletic twice made the 2nd Round

Yeah they lost to Brentford in the 2nd round in 2004. One of the last games at Hinckley's old ground and it all went tits up for them after.

Was on BBC 0-0 and lost 2-1 in the reply.

I went to both games,

Just got back from Tonbridge watching harborough.

Absolute quality day out .

I mean **** cooper ball.

One of my best days at a football match ever. Absolutely superb day, 500 Harborough fans making a right noise and demolishing a team a league above.

Hopefully get one of the bigger teams now, but if not then I’m backing this team.

Luca fvcking Miller <3

I liked him a lot when on loan at Harborough. To be playing at step 3 and 4 as a teenager is hard work, especially for a classy player like him.

Seems a really nice lad too and I’ve seen him a few times watching Harborough when Kettering not playing.

ill be surprised if he doesn’t get a full time pro contract somewhere within the next year or so.

I went to both games,

In addition Hinckley Athletic in 1954/55 played Rochdale and in 62/63 played Queens Park Rangers in the Second Round
