Mine has just updated tonight. Nine days after the previous game, rather than the three hours they state.

Bournemouth are flying against Southampton tonight. 3-0 ht

This is Cooper led Leicester... we've flown high against... nevermind... we were lucky to nick a point from Everton at home

This is FT all over..

Dropping our best player this season,.Wilf. In favour of players the FT has never seen.

Surprised you haven't selected Tete, Alves, Braybrooke, Diabete and Golding

We’ve seen all of those players this season. Admittedly, only a small, (and poor), glimpse of Edouard. But I still think he might have something better to offer as a likely source of goals this season than Wilf.
But you’re right, “this is FT all over” with hyperbole and overreaction…. it just wasn’t mine, though! 😂

Mavididi as a wing back? 😬

I can’t believe I’m defending a team selection that will never see the light of day…….. but here goes! 😂. Mav isn’t, and never will be, a wing-back. But in that team, I played him in front of JJ. Whereas Fatawu, with his increased defensive work-rate on the other side,  might enable us to defend with a 3.5 🤷.  But the preamble to that selection  clearly states that it’s a team to attack. How have we done at keeping clean sheets with Cooper’s ultra-conservative formations? Having watched the Cherries last night, I reckon we stand more chance of a win by getting after them than sitting off. 🤷. Just my opinions. 👍

I was thinking about this and when we play a back 5 with Fatawu has left wing back with Mavi in front.

Justin and Ricky down the right.

I appreciate this may be bordering madness but I think it would work as both pairs have a nature chemistry and it'd make us strong down both sides.

Winks and Skip anchoring midfield.

Bring Coady in to marshal the defence alongside Faes and Okoli.

Madness I know and it's very early in the morning but just a hunch that I think it's work OR at least work better than some of clueless Cooper's carp

Wonder if it will be a sell out

My season ticket has resold and I don’t believe it becomes available to buy until all non season ticket tickets have sold. So I think it probably will/has.

It’s not crazy, Martin O’Neill’s City always had Guppy and Impey as wing backs, the clues in the title, Kristianson and Justin are fullbacks who get forward now and then, neither can cross decently when they get there.

I’m going to post this every match thread - Until my pet hate is no more….

When starting the match thread why can’t we always have the same format:

Team name (H/A), 30.12.24, 15:00 (possibly competition too -EPL / FAC etc)

It will help with searching in future years, and save looking up the fixture list now, adding value to FoxesTalk

Problem with tinkering with the team to much creates the obvious problems and that's Cooper's issue right now, he just doesn't know his best 11 or how to set them up each time he changes players and faces different teams. Bournemouth are more settled and looked good last night, they'll be gutted if they don't rip us up.

If we lose this surely there's no excuse for  Cooper?

For me there's no excuse anyway, we've already played Everton and Palace and only got 2 points from those games.

Bournemouth are decent and better than those teams.

Bournemouth are a very good team with a top class manager not very optimistic for this.

It's the Premier League. If we're going to survive, we'll need to beat a lot of teams that meet that description.

This makes it sound like 30k plus isn’t the norm. The average was 31k last season in the Championship, and there also isn’t a situation in which Saturday 3pm kick-offs don’t sell out home or away. Granted, the feeling towards the board and Cooper will be having an impact, but single seats here and there isn’t any different to other clubs.
