You might be a physical unit, reasonable in the air and more mobile than some other (cough Vestergaard) CB’s but in this modern game you have to be comfortable with the ball at your feet, it’s going to happen, quite often, then factor in that it’s a Russel Martin team and he’s as useful as a chocolate tea pot. He is completely unfit for purpose.

He is fine playing a 10-20 yard pass not sure how people come to this conclusion, obviously no player is perfect with the ball and most players make the same mistakes.

It's not even just about him being poor with the ball at his feet. 

 

How many times does he get so easily turned because he can't position himself properly.

 

Watch back the highlights. Both times he jumps in and misses the ball.

The one good thing that Reid did with this fvcked is give him some verbals after he did a shit pass (again) when we should have been launching it forward very late on. 

 

Okoli gets so many players into trouble with his diabolical passing, and then struts around like he's not the one that gets us into trouble regularly.
