I live in Nottingham and have seen such a stark decline in the city over the past 10 years. People in Leicester complain about what's happening there, but it's much more stark in Nottingham. Being such a student city, because times are hard and young people really don't socialise in the way one used to, most of the big clubs and bars have closed. The city centre is very dead even on on a Fri and a Sat. The independent pub, bar and restaurant scene in Leicester is much better, and there far more going in for comedy and theatre too.

Chris woods was a Goalkeeper on the 70/80s at Forest. 

 

Chris Wood Played for City and is currently a Firest player.

What’s happening in Nottingham is really sad. The amount of homeless people and street drug use is pretty wild and like you say, I think Leicester is probably better these days.

The 01/02 Dave Basset Leicester side got enough points to have stayed up last season. The 3 promoted teams were an abomination.
